Comfortable dress shoe - Not an oxymoron anymore - This shoe is simple in its design to such an extent that it achieves elegance. One reason I dread formal events is the discomfort caused by most dress shoes. Not these! No one will ever suspect how good my feet are feeling when I wear these! I wish they didn't squeak on marble floors, though. A definite BUY!

A mortal can walk on clouds! Uber-comfort! Straight-laced, business style! Whether you marching up the steps to ring the opening bell or to bankruptcy court, you can treat your feet with these comfortable and good-looking shoes.

Great work shoe. If you work around water and dirty locations bit want a formal good look then this shoe is for you. Just wipe it off and it looks like it was just professionally shined. Very comfortable for long times on your feet. Will replace when the time comes with another pair. I have both colors.

Sweet Comfort - I have tried many other shoe brands and nothing fits like a Rockport. This particular Rockport has been the most comfortable for those folks who have a wide foot. It has full support and snugs to your feet for a heavenly feel.

Very nice - A very nice shoe, I had to add another insole to it to get it to fit, but I have very narrow feet and that is nothing new to me. I did get the narrow one too. I'm on my feet for 10 to 12 hours a day and I still feel good at the end of it. I recommend the shoe to anyone that is looking for a nice dress shoe.

Winner shoe - This shoe was perfect for my career. Easy styling, good comfort for lots of walking, and a very reasonable price. But Zappos made it the sweetest shoe. I ordered at 10:20pm and when i arrived home next day at 5:30pm, the shoes had been delivered. And free postage. How can you go wrong?

Rockport Ellington - Great comfort from day 1. Nice looking shoe.

Great Shoe. Great Price. Great Service. Great shoe all around. I purchased in advance of business trip to D.C. because with the amount of walking I needed something comfortable/durable and that would go well with a suit. This shoe accomplished my goals...and at a price that didn't break the bank (utilized the price matching option as well). What's even better, I ordered the shoe the Monday afternoon before having to leave on my trip (the same Friday) and had the shoes the next day. For these reasons, I continue to choose Zappos.com when purchasing new shoes.

Waterproof looks and comfort - I don't understand why it's so difficult to find wide shoes, or waterproof shoes. Fortunately, this shoe fills both those needs, and looks great while doing it.

Great shoes - I think these shoes are great!!!

Great shoe, accommodates width variations well - This shoe has a Blucher design which adjusts nicely to the width of the foot for a good fit. This works great for my husband whose feet are different widths. This is a very nice looking shoe, and he has found it to be more comfortable than the Eccos he's been wearing for years, at about half the price. Zappos customer service was amazing at helping pick this out, it was just what I needed. Kudos to them!

Outstanding Dress Shoe! I've come to a place that I will only wear Rockport casual, business casual, boat, dress, etc... This model dress shoe I wear with business suits to work. Very traditional look, holds a great shine and these non-skid soles are a newer type that look just like leather soles from the outside thus dressy enough for a suit without question. The original dull rubber, spongy soles were/are good, but take away from the polished look. These require almost no break in period, quality leather & very well made shoe. Extremely light weight and feels like you’re walking in a sneaker. Must buy & Rockport, keep this dress shoe style coming with this type of sole.

Only thing better would have been .... The only thing better would have been to have someone reading my mind, knowing what I wanted and standing outside my door ready to deliver it! Could you work on having someone putting the shoes on the feet for me?? These were for a business trade show for 6 guys; I will be ordering some EMS boots from you soon for my personal use.

Looks Great , Feels Great - In fact I am wearing them right now! I wore them right out of the box and they felt great. No break-in time. These shoes have plenty of room for orthotics (arch supports). I am a car salesman and am on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day. I would have ordered a black pair but they did not have it in my size.

Nice shoe - The shoe is very comfortable and seems to be long lasting. Good choice!

Great Shoes, Great Service - I ordered my shoes on Saturday afternoon and received them on Monday. They were very comfortable right out of the box. This is my second pair of Rockport shoes from Zappos and both pairs are great.

Son Loves Mom's Choice - Our son recently began his venture into the business world with a major league soccer team. As a gift, I told him we would buy two pairs of dress shoes, but they had to be Rockports. Son husband has always found them wonderful. He wasn't too impressed, but went along with it since they were free. Yesterday he told me to write a review to say they were the best shoes he has ever had in his life. They feel so good, and look so sharp---comfortable and fashionable with lots of compliments from his fellow workers. I knew I did not raise a fool!

I'll only wear Rockport shoes...nothing else comes close. These were a tad snug when I first put them on and reading other reviews I thought I should have ordered a half size larger. After a week they were broken in nicely and are now incredibly comfortable and airy. So much nicer than shoes 3 times as expensive...and a whole lot lighter! Like walking on air.

Best shoes for hard floors - I "emergency" ordered the Rockports after walking four days on retail stores' floors in leather soled loafers. The Rockport fit is very good. The comfort and support they provide is incredible. I can't say enough about the style. They are among the most "current" shoes in my wardrobe and they are easily the most comfortable. I've worn shoes costing three times as much without the comfort Rockports provide. Fan for life!

Fantastic fit and looks great! These shoes look fabulous with dress slacks. My husband got them for his work. He is an M.D. and is on his feet all day. He says they are very comfortable and true to size and width. They don't look like a lot of the 'old man' shoes that are considered "dress". Rockport was also featured in the July 2007 "Stuff" magazine.

My husband does not have much luck finding shoes that fit - with a small and wide foot - here we have no trouble! This is now the only place we are buying his shoes - casual and dress.

looks with comfort - I hate buying shoes because that means I am about to throw my current comfortable shoes away. However, I have found these shoes a worthy replacement. Stylish (enough), takes a shine (enough),boxy toe space (enough), soft leather (enough) to make these very comfortable for 10 to 12 hr wearings day after day.

Comfortable right out of the box. Obviously not a replacement for a dress shoe, more like a nice work shoe. Like most shoes these days its so lightweight I don't know how long it'll last.
