These are great shoes. They fit well. You do not need to polish them! I was somewhat hesitant about buying shoes over the internet, but Zappos made it so easy. The shoes fit exactly as sized just like a glove. I am on my feet eight hours per day so it was important that I find something comfortable and long lasting. The last pair of Rockports lasted over three years with one resoling, and that was great!

The order was promptly received. The shoes I received were as ordered but squeaked. Zappos replaced them but the color had a brown tone rather than black as ordered. With a telephone call I received a third pair of shoes the next day. They too had a brown tone. On a third call I was advised to put powder under the insole of the squeaky shoes which I did and it immediately resolved the problem. Zappos promptly sent two return slips for the other two pairs of shoes which I returned through the UPS drop off at Staples. How convenient. Zappos was a pleasure to deal with as well as convenient. All Customer Service Representatives were pleasant, cooperative and tried to help and were a pleasure to work with. I will use Zappos again.

The pair of shoes I've purchased fit exactly what I needed for a reasonable fair price. In the past I've made 2 other separate purchases. All have been without a doubt, the best customer service anywhere...bar-none. The item descriptions and pictures along with their superior customer service leaves no ambiguity about their products. You can't go wrong doing business with Zappos!

Great shoe, exactly what I was looking for. I was able to put a coat of kiwi on them to keep them looking good. The leather uppers give it a classy look and the rubber soles make them comfortable. They started a bit tight but broke in after about a week of wear.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I did need to get it worn a little bit but for a guy who wears a size 14, I'm happy with it. Thanks Zappos.

I've owned three or four pairs of Ellingwoods over the past six or seven years. They are as comfortable as my running shoes--in fact, I'm pretty sure I could run a 10k in these without problem. The uppers are very durable. I eventually walk the soles off, and then it's time for a new pair. I hope Rockport keeps making this model.

My job involves wearing dress shoes to work and having to walk mainly on tile, concrete, and asphalt. This pair of shoes is comfortable, durable, and maintains its shine. They are well worth the money I paid for them. I bought black. Now, I am considering purchasing a brown pair as well.

I've now had these shoes for 3 months. They've been great. I wear them about 3-4 times a week. I always order sizes 7.5 and 8 EE. The 7.5's fit perfectly.

Rockport shoes are some of the most comfortable; and these fit the bill! Great-looking cap toe with nice lines and finish, and they are comfortable. Zappos delivered quality shoes quickly. I am very pleased with the shoes and the service!

Love Rockport. I bought one pair in Ox Blood and one pair in Black. A very reliable and comfortable shoe. I spend a lot of time on my feet and these allow for great cornering on carpet or hard wood.

This shoe is a replacement for a shoe I purchased several years ago for a brick and mortar store. I had to then settle for a larger size since I have a wide foot. With Zappos, I got the exact size for my foot. The shoe wears well, it polishes nicely and it holds up with great support. It is a very comfortable shoe.

Extremely comfortable for every-day, on-my-feet wear. Quite durable for the price and worn about 5 days per week for nearly a year. I am on my 3rd or 4th pair, and I hope they never stop making these!

These are great shoes. A dress shoe that is comfortable - wow. I've had Rockports for years, but these don't look like walking shoes. They are very comfortable and you really can't be the price for the combination of great looks and great comfort.

Great shoe for a "dress" or "business casual" workplace. Comes in a wide width too...a plus. Comfort level is very good, especially the padded back of the shoe. I ordered in the evening; package arrived the very next day (Standard shipping)...crazy-fast !

Fits nicely and looks good. Not hard to break in at all. It feels new and wears like it is old.

Like others have mentioned, I found them to be a bit stiff at first. I've worn them on and off for most of a month now and they're comfortable. (Not sneaker-comfortable, but great for dress shoes.) They also look reasonably good, and don't scuff very easily. I'm very happy with them.

These shoes fit perfect. They take a few wearings to break in. After that, they are quite comfortable (as you'd expect from Rockports). Zappos again impresses!

I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The first day the shoes felt a little stiff, but I learned to tie them a bit looser. The shoes arrived a day after I ordered them, and they were cheaper than the mall store.
