RESULT: ODD FIT I wear 9.5, so I ordered 10, but it felt like 10.5. Then i ordered 9, & it felt like 10. I don't usually have this issue w/ a shoe. The back ankle part is the one where it just didn't feel snug to the length size. So, lastly I ordered 8.5 & my toe area had minimal space, which I suspected b/c I've NEVER had to order 8.5 in any brand to fit just right. Overall, this shoe is padded well, but w/ all the odd spaces from the toe & ankle area, it just wouldn't be stable enough for jogging overtime, so I returned it.

This was a cute shoe that was initially comfortable, but the more I walked around the more I noticed my foot sliding towards the inside front of the shoe. They're definitely true to size, and standing straight up my toes are in the right place in the shoe. It's only when moving that I realized the problem. For me, the toe box just seemed to cut in too far on the inside, and the footbed slanted downward too aggressively. Those things combined are causing me to have to return.

I give up. This is supposedly exactly the same shoe I ordered a year ago, and the size has changed enough AGAIN that my Superfeet are falling out of the new ones and my daughter spotted the size difference immediately. Why did I order shoes this big? Because a few years ago NB changed their sizing so that it ran small, and I wound up with my toes right up against the end of the shoe. The workmanship is also weird -- one of the shoes is off-center and I can feel it pushing me to overpronate. Which is exactly what this model is supposed to correct. I really don't have time for re-wrapping parcels and sending them back through the mail, so I'll see if I can get by with these for now, and then it's time to just go to the local running store and try out the Brooks.

Comfortable shoe, but hard on the bottom at times. It is a good walking shoe too, with good support. I gave 4 stars for the style because the shoe is a little plain looking, but overall a good choice for people who are looking for firm support.

I loved this shoe. Great arch support. Wide toe box and no inside seams which is a big plus for my tailors bunions. However somehow my big toes rubbed against the end of toe box with every step which irritated them enough just walking inside my house that I could not keep them. So sorry to return them because they were perfect in so many ways except for the red irritated near blister looking areas on big toes. Thank you Zappos for having these great shoes available and your wonderful return policy for people like me with problem feet.

I have wide feet and a sore big toe from an accident. The shoes I ordered allow me to walk my usual 3 miles/day pain free. Shoes arrived day after I ordered them, and Zappos always allows free returns. Great company in my opinion!

I have bunions, so have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit properly. These have a wide toe bed so work well for me. There's also nice support at the arch. Some other shoes I've tried lately don't seem to have much support at all for the foot - these do! They work for me for walking or higher intensity activities. Really happy with them!

I am very happy with these shoes. They are comfortable and give good support. They seem maybe a little wide but I just make sure they are laced snugly. I initially thought the laces were too long but then I realized there was an extra set of holes and that solved the problem.

Loved them except a half size too big. Trying an 8.5...

Comfortable right out of the box and ready for a four mile walk. Supportive shoe ,reduces the overpronation and keeps foot in mid-line positioning. Medium width is a bit more narrow which is perfect for me. I wear an 8 in most shoes and the 8.5 was perfect in this shoe. I wear a 9 in Brooks but a 9 in this shoe was too long. Custom insert fits great but the insert that comes with shoe is all that I currently need. Love this shoe!!

I need wide shoes for overpronation, I have other foot problems too. These are great! I actually ordered 3 pairs of different shoes to decide which suited my feet the best. These were the winners over 2 different Brooks styles, and I am a Brooks lover! The arch support was outstanding. The width was spot on, sometimes I have to look at the box to make sure I ordered the shoe in a Wide, you really can't tell sometimes the difference between the med and the wide. Love my new shoes!
