Returning this item. Although the calf circumference was exactly the measurement given, it just fit around my calf when wearing tights. There was absolutely no room for heavier hosiery and certainly not any for tucking in pant’s legs. The goring is so scant that it is useless. The medium width was on the narrow side. The sole was comfortable. As some other reviewers mentioned, there was the oddest “shadow” where the boot bends on your foot. It showed immediately upon trying the boots on and taking a few steps. On one boot the zipper pressed on my ankle.

These are nice boots and it’s hard to find wide calf boots, but they were tight in the foot with a light sock and the top was uncomfortably tight. I didn’t feel they were truly wide calf boots. Very disappointing and I had to return them.

I love the looks of these boots and was so excited for them to arrive. However, once I put them on, my excitement quickly faded. They were so narrow that I could not move my foot. They were wide enough in the calf, but the foot bed, itself, was narrow. There is no way that I could possibly walk in these boots. Regrettably I had to return them.

The boot fit and was true to size. The wider calf was a good fit as well. However, I'm 5'8" and the top part of the boot stuck out from my leg which seemed a bit odd since the rest was more fitted. It is a wider calf, but it bothered me. I also didn't like the rounded toe and the synthetic uppers looked like it - synthetic. The color was nice and would be versatile, but didn't think it was a good value for the money. The shoes were very comfortable.

Very disappointed in these boots. First, they run very small. I'm normally an 8.5, I got these boots in a 9 and they are very snug...I actually double checked to see if they sent me the wrong size. Also, they looked cheap. Unfortunately they're being returned.

Fit was perfecf and boots were so comfortable. The only problem is that the rubber around the heels is peeling off after only the second time wearing them. Super disappointing given the price I paid to have them look damaged and ragged after only 2 wears.

Boot is attractive, of decent quality, but not comfortable in the upper ankle area. There is a "layer" of 'extra' leather added in the full length of the ankle, both front and back and it makes this area very stiff. sure it was meant to prevent the leather bunching in this area, but because the ankle can't bend fully and motion is constrained so much it causes a 'hot' area on the back of the leg and the front where a blister or some other discomfort to the skin will develop.

So disappointed in these boots. I have them in brown and love them, but with the black ones the material turns gray wherever the boot creases. Super disappointing. I threw the box away and really wish I hadn't because I would definitely return them.

I normally wear a size 8, but these boots were so tight in the footbed and ankle area that I had to take them off immediately. I have wide calves, but not unusually large feet and ankles. Had to send these back.

I bought a half size larger than I usually do and these still felt WAY too small. The foot was super tight and tiny. I could barely squeeze my foot into one.
