These are gorgeous and fit my wide calf however they seem short and hit my leg at an odd spot and I'm only 5'3. I wish they were just a bit taller-sad to return them!

These are very nice boots. I have really large caves and have trouble finding boots that fit even with the larger calf, but these fit! They look nice and are very comfortable.

These fit great! The wide calf is perfect for my bigger calfs and they are comfortable.

This is a really beautiful boot. Unfortunately they did not fit my calves, but the shoe part was so comfortable when I tried them on. So disappointed I had to return them. Love the ease of Zappos return policy!

I have small feet, but wide calves, and boots can be very hard to find. These not only fit well, but looked cute and were comfortable enough to be on my feet all day long.

This is a beautiful, well-made, graceful boot! When I ordered, there was a size 11 left, and I got it even though I wear a 10. The 11 fit quite well, was actually narrow enough for my foot even though it was a M width. It came to within 1.5" of the bottom of my knee, wonderfully tall for a 5'8" person; the shaft of the boot measures 15.5" from top to where it joins the heel. It was considerably too wide at the top, though, and took its own course leaning to the outside because it could not hug my calf at the top of the boot. I've ordered a 10 now in hopes it fits better.

This boot is overall well constructed and quite feminine. It was exactly what I was looking for, however, the calf width is not as indicated on the description. It is significantly smaller than 19 inches around. I am very disappointed because I otherwise love them!

The boot itself is very well made. Cute little stacked heel (not wood, more like a plastic). However the "wide calf" of the shaft was only about 2" larger than normal boots. They would not zip up all the way, but when testing the padding as I walked around my house, they seemed very comfortable. Just wish they had been wide enough!!

OK, these are gorgeous. And best of all, they don't LOOK like wide-calf boots. I'm not a big woman, I just have thick ankles and calfs, and I hate when wide-calf boots look awful. These look wonderful. They zip cleanly up and have great support. The only downside is that the zipper bends inward a little bit around a fold above the ankle and actually causes bruises on my legs. I'm hoping I can break them in or just...get used to it I guess. I'm not prepared to give up these beauties.

Normal sized boots typically don't fit my calves so I chose the wide calf this time. The shaft was too big for me and had major gapping at the top. The foot part fit perfect.

Purchased these because the description says they have an 18" circumference on the calf, but found that was definitely not the case. They were at least and inch and a half narrower than advertised, and there was no zipping these boots up. Wish Zappos would update the description; what's the point of searching for boots to fit the actual size of your calves if you can't trust the measurements in the description? Waste of time, and the search for a truly wide calf boot continues.

Boot runs very small. I usually wear a 7 W or 7.5 and would need at least an 8 W or larger.

Meh. These were just ok. They fit fine and as someone with larger calves who has a VERY difficult time finding boots that fit, I was happy about that. However they're very boring. There is nothing fun or interesting about them, no decoration at all. I'm not a flashy person but these were too bland. They need some buckles or something to jazz them up a bit. I sent them back and have already purchased a different pair. For reference, I'm 5'3, usually a size 16-18, I wear a size 8 shoe and have a 17" circumference calf. I was able to zip these up over jeans with a minimum of difficulty. Also, being that they are Dr Scholl's, I got the feeling that they would be comfortable to walk around in, but they just weren't for me.

Though the boot FIT, the bunching at the ankle was too uncomfortable for me. I agree with other reviews that the material definitely does not resemble leather close up!

Because other reviews said this boot ran small I ordered a size up. However, it was still very snug in the entire foot area of the boot. It is almost as if the shape is just not quite right to fit comfortably. The color of the boot is great, just wish it had fit better.

These shoes are very narrow

I was excited to finally find wide calf boots & thought these would be perfect! The whiskey color was gorgeous & these seem to be very well constructed. Unfortunately, these were extremely tight on the top of my feet (over my arches). I normally wear a size 10, but had ordered an 11 because I have a wider foot, & these still didn't work. My search for a comfortable, stylish, wide calf boot will continue.

In terms of wide calf boots these were sized correctly. I ended up returning them bc of the quality. I felt that the synthetic leather was cheap feeling and wouldn't hold up over several seasons. I ended up ordering the Sam Edelman Penny Boots and I'm thrilled with them.

These boots were good looking when they arrived but were not comfortable. They rubbed on both sides of my ankle and the back of my heel. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear.

I was so excited to receive these boots, but the "wide calf" claim was disappointing. There is not a panel of elastic to stretch the circumference...so back to Zappos they go.

These are insanely narrow. I do not have a wide foot (although I have a very wide calf) and i could barely get my foot into the boot.
