True to size and I purchased an extra wide for my wide foot. They have a circulating channel that massages especially the ball of the foot and also the rest of the foot, that may take some getting use to, but worked well for me on the cobblestones and fields of Portugal. An acceptable shoe for dress up and good for hiking in the forest even over rocky and muddy trails.

Very comfortable. Sides are a little higher than most casual shoes, lending a little more support. Arch is good. Have worn Rockports for 30+ years and have always found them consistent in sizing. Wear has been good. Especially if you have a narrower foot, try them.

I've worn this basic shoe for years; love them. I actually had a small problem with the sole separating at the toe of one shoe; never seen this with my Rockports before. But, no worries; Zappos replaced them immediately. Top notch customer service! Replacement shoes have been usual top quality.

I've been wearing Rockports and Dressports for years. Very consistant size across styles. Excellent durability. I miss ordered the first pair, but Zappos took them back and credited me immediately. Great customer service. Good prices.

I have many problems with my feet and these are the only shoes that I have been wearing for the last many years with no problems. They are very comfortable and highly recommended.

I am purchasing a pair to replace the same style shoes purchased in September 2008. Over five years of daily wearing (September through May) and they are still serviceable. I am generally pretty easy on shoes (good alignment, I guess) but these are unbelievable. I am a teacher so I am on my feet a lot. When I decided to buy a replacement and found that these are still available there was no thinking about it. Order them up and wear them for another five years. These are the best shoes ever. Period.

I wear a wide shoe and these fit me very well. I purchased a second pair. The only comment I can make is that I wish the shoe laces were longer.

Erik's Rockport World Tour Elite Review - These are one of the greatest pair of shoes I've owned. They're very stylish and look well with just about every casual outfit I have. They're also extremely comfortable. To make a long story short, the Rockport World Tour Elite are worth every penny.

Encounter - Just what I wanted, a comfortable shoe to wear for lots of occasions.

Causal Dress shoe - Looks nice for casual office wear... dress shirt, dark pants & you've got to have dark shoes! I got these in black and they are comfortable... I put them on my favorites list for quick re-order when this pair wears out.

Nice Fit - Shoes were true to size and comfortable. I usually have a problem with heel slippage due to thin ankles. These grip my heel very well. After a half day of walking when new, they felt fully broken in. I had to replace the cushion insole due to my own arch support needs. No regrets.

I love Rockports - I wear a slightly odd size. I could spend days searching shoe stores for what I need - and only Rockports will do for shoes that have to both look good with a suit, and still allow me to walk a mile to the bus stop in the morning...

Work and dress footwear - My job entails working on a tourist train for a 14 hour work day. I wear a suit but I'm often in dirtier work conditions. The job entails a great deal of walking as well as up and down on narrow and winding stairs while the train is rocking along the track. I needed a shoe that was light but strong, that would look OK to wear with a suit and that would stand up under adverse conditions. This is not the dressiest looking shoe in the world but it fits my needs very well.

Great Shoe! Very comfortable, fit perfectly with no break-in needed. I'm on my feet a lot and walk a lot in my job and need a show that looks good with casual to lightly dressy slacks and this shoe fits the bill on all counts. The service from Zappos is first rate!

Too bad - I hoped for quality - Shoes were returned because the air soles made a popping noise when I walked and the soles were not glued to the uppers. The soles are stitched all the way around but only glued at the heels not the fronts, I don't get it.

Supreme comfort at reasonable price - I have worn various Rockports for many years. The recent purchase of this model did not fail to satisfy my high expectations. I have a wide foot. The extra width of this shoe allows me to buy the correct length as opposed to buying a half to full size longer shoe just to be able to get them wide enough to wear. I stand a lot and do a fair amount of walking. This shoe is remarkably comfortable, lightweight, and supremely easy on your feet. Short of buying custom made shoes, these Rockports should be everything you could want at substantially less $$$ than custom. Highly recommended!

Rockport's are the greatest... This is the fourth set of Rockport's (all different style's) that I have owned, and I can't say enough about the quality and comfort of this brand of shoes. Only the Evander style was disappointing, just plain uncomfortable. I am on my feet 10 hours a day, and wouldn't wear anything else...
