I was skeptical because I've always worn some version of a barefoot shoe.. I noticed recently I was having a lot of hip and back pain after my runs. I went into a shoe store to get my gait checked and a shoe recommended and this was the first of 5 pairs that they suggested for me. Just took it for a spin this morning and I instantly can tell the difference. My ankle isn't sore by the time I got home and although tired from the run I can tell I'm not stiff/sore. Impressed so far

1080's are the best shoe to wear for my knees and back. Had a back injury in 2009...visited the NB store in 2010 on Clark and Fullerton and have been in Love with them ever since. They offer great support and I experience less pain. I even habe my friends wearing NB.

I don't quite have wide feet, but other than needing a little bit more room in the toe box, these are really great shoes. I tried an alternative lacing style for a wider forefoot and then they didn't rub and the fit has been perfect since. Just the right amount of cushioning for this middle-aged, "fat but fit" runner.

THese shoes are amazing for long distance training but are also great for recovery runs or even a speed workout I definitely recommend these shoes for training for cross-country

Love hear running shoes. I haven’t worn New Balance in a while but bought these after trying them on in a store. Great support, foot bed feels nice and spacious. I have problems with the joints in my feet and these shoes are great support for my running.

I say true to size because I always order a half size larger in running shoes. I always order wide and this shoe has lots of room for the toe box. I have a wide foot in front with a high arch and thin heels so I have a hard time finding shoes. The ankle and heel support is great, lots of hugging structure and lots of squish. If you need neutral shoes try these out I think you will enjoy thme.

Love these! They have excellent arch support and a wide toe box. The shoe string length is excellent--often wide shoes do not allow enough length for shoe strings. I ordered these in a wide and 1/2 size larger than I wear in dress shoes. I ordered lime glo, which is bright but not as vivid as it looks in the photo. These will be my main pair of athletic shoes for running errands and will provide ample support to my feet.

I have Morton's Neuromas on both feet. These shoes were recommended to help. They do help a lot. I prefer more sedate colors but.....when I wear them, I ge lots of compliments. Have been a Zappos customer for many years. Best company out there to deal with. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone with Morton's Neuroma. And I recommend ZAPPOS even higher.

Perfect Marathon Training Shoe. Fairly light with great cushioning. Whether you're doing a long run, fartleks, speed work or easy run, incredibly dependable. Fresh foam helps with leg recovery after workouts.
