I bought 10 pairs of leggings in different brands/styles (e.g. Spanx, Yummie, Commando) in the hopes that 1 or 2 would fit and the rest could be returned. This one was the winner. (Actually bought mine on Amazon, but wanted to leave a review here because Zappos has an excellent Spanx range, but these leggings have a confusing name that would make them hard to find on Zappos. Everywhere else calls these leggings either "Look At Me" or "Look At Me Now" leggings, of which the black camo is just one of several colors.) ----Mine are not see-through, even when bending over in bright light. ----They have medium-firm compression in all directions, which gives me the most flattering result. (However, I typically wear a Medium, and I bought Large for the sake of comfort.) ----They don't squoosh your middle over the top of the waistband, or cut painfully into your waist. ----They don't have the visibly bright and shiny spandex sheen that I hate so much. However: ----They do roll slightly when I sit down, but only the top inch or so. ----They are very thick. I wore them on a 90+ degree day and people thought I was insane. But great for cool weather. ----They are entirely synthetic, and would not be confused for cotton under any circumstances, so they don't work for every outfit. The fabric is basically like original Spanx shaper fabric, which, to me, is sort of like Hulked-out stockings.

I wanted to love these. The hold is great. The waistline is amazing- high, but not constricting. The downside- they have a weird rib in them and when I walk they’re super loud from my thighs rubbing together.

i bought these based on the good reviews but i found them extremely uncomfortable. the waist band rolled down and i spent the whole day i wore them pulling them back up. they're very heavyweight (which i liked). they also have stripes down the outside of the legs that isn't shown in the pictures. i kept them because i wore them but wouldn't buy another pair.

Absolutely in love with this leggings. Perfect fit. I’m 5’8 currently 4wks pp weighting 160lbs and they provide excellent support and firmness on the abdominal area in addition to comfort and style. I got a MD. Highly recommended.

I am 5'6", 135lbs, and athletic. These fit well and I loved that there wasn't a center seam. However, the fabric is see-through, when bending over, as in a yoga class, so I had to return them.

If you are between sizes, definitely recommend sizing up, I’m a size 2p and I ended up getting a small. These are more like jeggings, very nice thick and stretchy material that hugs your legs but not suffocating them. A little pricey, but I hope these will last me a long time.

I wear a size 8 jean and am 5’5”. I ordered a Medium and they fit perfectly.

I thought I was getting a legging that would suck everything in and that was not see thru. What I got was leggings that felt more like panty hose/tights. The material is very odd and seems like it could breAk easily. The fit was ok it’s not very comfortable.

I was not a fan of spanx leggings. I bought based on the hype of them being so great. Maybe my pair was defective but I found them to be very tight around my stomach and the inner leg seams were rippled. True to size.

The fit was great- however, they aren't thick enough to wear as pants and there is a stripe (double seam) down the outside leg. You can't see it in the photo here. It was bold enough for me to return them.

For the price of these leggings, you'd think they wouldn't not be see-through, but they are. I was bending over, and my husband said, "I can clearly see your underwear in those." I was wearing a thong and he could still see the print on them.

I'm trying to think of how to describe these leggings. They are actually, as said in a previous review, more like a spanks undergarment but one that would be to thick to actually work as an undergarment. They don't seem to have the great stretching quality that you need in a legging for it to be comfortable pulling them up. They just don't want to go up and stay. Regardless of what others are saying, these DO roll on you. I spent half the day yanking them back up as they tried to slide back down. I'm a size 8-10 5 7" and got the medium which works in any brand I've ever purchased. So that wasn't the issue. It seems like they have wool or some other substance woven into them that shouldn't be in a legging if you want movement. They come on a hanger and literally look like thick footless pantyhose before you put them on. I wouldn't purchase these again.

My new favorite pair of leggings! They are thicker than other Spanx that I've owned,almost more like a jegging, which I love. I also like how the top comes up to your natural waist and holds you in a bit.

I have numerous pair of Spanx. I love this new pair. Love the texture and the fit. They are flattering. I go up one size from the size chart, I am 5 ft 4 1/2, 117 pounds, and I order the medium. It's is snug without being corset-like. I have a "thing" and I simply cannot stand overly tight garments. Anyway, these are killer tights!

After reading reviews I decided to go up a size. I have a large waist so I should have steered clear of these. Much like the other reviews i find these constantly push down at the waist so I'm constantly hitching them up..........ugh. The fabric quality is great and they're worth the price if they work for your body type.

I bought these leggings in gray and was so in love, I decided to buy them in black, plus bought my daughters each a pair, one black and one gray. My first pair fit so perfectly (I am normally size M but I ordered a large knowing my other Spanx faux leather leggings run small and I’m glad I did). They stay up well, hug all the way down even to my skinny ankles, and don’t roll at the waist. Perfection. Well all three pairs I ordered next are slightly different. They all have that subtle double stripe down the outside of the leg like some other reviewers mentioned. I’m not sure if it’s a newer version or what but I definitely prefer my first pair with no stripes. Also my black pair in L is slightly looser in the waist and ankles. Still like them but not as much.....only four stars because of the inconsistency.

These pants are only suited for body types with legs much smaller than waist, hardly any stretch in the thigh area (so not good at all for curvy types) and most definitely not "one size" inseam, that doesn't even make sense. I'm continually disappointed with Spanx but am clearly not their target customer.

Waist rolls down even though I sized up. So disappointing considering the price point.

I have bought many pairs Spanx leggings and these are smallest-cut and least comfortable of them all. They feel like thick hose. Must size up one or even two sizes. I don't know why Spanx discontinues best-sellers such as their Essential leggings. What's going on, Spanx?

I have no idea why there are such good reviews these are the worst leggings. The texture is much more like tights than leggings. There are SEAMS! particularly a round patch at the crotch, on the sides of the legs and a band across the stomach that makes it look like you are just wearing a pair of spanx. The material is itchy, the waist rolls like a compression garment. Nothing good to say about these, especially for the price, better experiences with $20 Amazon buys

Very comfortable and flattering. I’m 5’3” and the 24” ones are a great length on me.

Needed to size up in these. So happy they come in grey!
