Very sturdy and stable running shoes. A little heavy, but they make up for the weight in stability.

This shoe has given me the support needed to go the distance with running. I wear size 8 1/2 but size EU4. It is very difficult to find shoes that are comfortable to run in long distances. This becomes even harder when looking for a lighter weight shoe for racing. My last 15K, I ran at 7:53 average mile pace in these shoes (I am a recreational runner and not some sort of elite athlete). You will love these shoes. I loved them enough to purchase an additional pair for track interval training. I will most likely purchase one or two more pairs this summer before the next model/series comes out.

The shoe fits well. The shoe has a mesh that lets it breath. The cushioning is good, not as good as the NB flagship 990, but still better then most. Very happy with shoes and the price.

Shoes came on time. I ordered two pairs different size. I wear 17d or 17 2e. Nobody cares shoes these sizes in
there store. Thank you zappos for another great experience.

Fabulous shoe - I tried many different brands like brooks, Asics, etc. but this was by far the best designed. best fitting shoe. The most important, the toe area by far is the best designed, just perfect. I am happy I found this shoe.

Great looking shoe and very comfortable. I work on concrete all day so require a very good quality shoe with good arch support as well as comfort and New Balance are my favorite shoes.

My recent purchase of 2 pair shoes expresses my level of satisfaction with wearing NB shoes. 24/7. If they made a casual-dress model, I'd have those as part of my limited wardrobe too! Great shoe for my imperfect walking gate being over probation. they along with my custom orthodox save me from chiropractic doctor visits.

I've been wearing the 860's for years but wanted to try the 940's. I like them, fit very much identical to the 860's but seem to be a bit heavier due to the cushioning. They were comfortable right out of the box. I would buy them again.
