Love these ankle boots! This was my first time shopping on Zappos & I was extremely pleased with how simple the whole process was! Got my shoes the next day! I ordered these in camel & taupe because I couldn't decide. I would've loved either but decided with the taupe in the end. The return was super easy. I've worn the booties several times now & love them. I'm a size ten with one foot slightly larger and wide feet. I ordered 10 & they seem great. True to size. No blisters to break them in. I wear no show ankle socks with them. I love that they're not completely flat, but not too tall (I'm 5'10" & my husband is only 2" taller).

Super cute booties, love the suede, color is rich and true to the gray pictured. My bunion only likes them for a half day but I am hoping they will stretch and that will get better. Also might try a insole too.

I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up, which I would recommend, especially because I like to wear my boots with socks. I wasn't in love with these booties when I first tried them on (this might be in part because I'm used to wearing riding boots, not ankle booties), so I waited with my review. I wore them today and they are quite comfortable, no breaking in needed. I paid about $85.00 which I feel is worth these booties, but I would not pay full price (140.00). Beautiful color & like the double zipper with the braided tassel...cute.

I loved this boot and the fit was true to size. I had to return the boot, though, because the top of the zipper on the inside hit right at my ankle bone and rubbed and hurt.

Returned. The shoe felt long and narrow. Very cute style but didn't work for me. I have a wide foot and high arch. Both of those aspects caused these boots not to work for me.

I’ve ordered this bootie in the dark taupe and this anthracite gray color. I initially thought this bootie ran WAY small, but now realize I probably got the wrong size initially. Dolce Vita does NOT mark a shoe size anywhere on their booties! It’s frustrating because the first few pairs I ordered were certainly a size 8.5, even though I ordered a 9.5. Needless to say, the 9.5 in the anthracite suede was the perfect length! The color is not as pictured online, but more a graphite or pencil lead gray. Another reviewer noted this and she was right! There’s no brown in this color, but the gray is lovely!! As always, Zappos was wonderful with helping me figure out sizing and in making numerous returns & exchanges!!

These boots have a very solid sole and feel sturdy when I walk. The upper part in contrast is very soft and supple. I would get a size bigger if you know you like to wear thicker socks with your boots. I got my exact size and will have to wear only thinner socks because the fit is exact. I would also recommend you wear crew and not ankle socks, otherwise the zipper may bother you touching your skin.

Very small toe box & super narrow & I have tiny feet but I do like to have lots of room for my toes. They are really nice boots. I ordered a size 5.5 which is my normal size even though some reviews said they run big...I would disagree. I am returning & ordering a full size larger. We’ll see! I will give them a 5 overall if the new size fits.

Super cute! I bought the leopard (aren't they technically cheetah print?) but regardless, they look just like the photo, and I love them. I think they will be a cute way to spruce up a simple outfit. I can't wait to see what all I can pair them with. They aren't the most comfortable shoes I own, but they aren't bad and the cuteness level makes up for it.

Soft leather boot, heavy boot, but made well. The reason I’m returning is because I ordered a 10 W and the ankle part was wide as well. I have a skinny foot and ankle but need width at the ball of my foot. I felt it didn’t have enough support around the top of the shoe.

I love the look of these shoes. I love the zipper detailing. My only issue, is comfort. The width and size is right. It’s not an arch support issue, but I get pinching on the top of my foot. It may just be my feet. A coworker has this same shoe in the creamy bone color. So cute!

I haven't decided if I will keep these yet. The are super comfortable and cute, but I'm not sure how I feel about the suede. I just pulled them out of the box and literally they were already showing marks from handling. Now that I look you can kind of see it in the picture shown above. I know some of this is to be expected with suede, but given how worn it looked just from pulling it out of the box, I'm not sure how long these would hold up. I'll have to try them on with a few pairs of jeans to see if the fashion outweighs the function on these!

They were out of my size in the darker colors when I purchased this bootie but I was really having bootie fever so I ordered the light taupe shade. It is a beautiful shoe though makes my foot appear a little long, might be a little extra length in the toe area. I'm returning this pair because this color is too light and I feel like it makes my feet appear bigger than they actually are. Considering ordering in one of the darker colors now that they are back in stock in my size. Might size down a half size this time too!

Too tight in the width. If you have a high arch and wide foot just keep on shopping. Pretty boots though

I hoped that these would be the elusive ankle boots that I have been searching for, but unfortunately they were not. I have difficult feet. I ordered the wide, but I felt the sides of my toes rubbing up against the sides of the shoe. They have a nice stacked heel, but they were a little heavy and didn’t feel flexible on my painful feet. The actual color of the boot is different than how it appears to me in the picture. It is more of a charcoal gray, not the grayish-brown that I was expecting. This also creates more of a contrasting color with the sole and heel instead of it being more of a similar color. It is a pretty gray though, if you are looking for a gray boot. It is also a very nice looking boot. I wish I could keep it.

I wear an 11, but have narrow low-volume feet and an 8" circumference ankle. These are gorgeous boots, and the length was perfect, but they're simply too big around my foot and ankle. The combination of skinny ankle and spacious boot opening resulted in an unfortunate flower pot effect. I could take them off without undoing any zippers. Back they go. The quest for an ankle boot with a narrow opening continues.

I had this same style of boots last year. The new ones I got were poorly constructed and looked cheaply made.

I really liked this boot. I ordered it in a size 10, which felt like an 11, so I returned for a size 9.5. It felt like a size 9. The sizing is way off on this boot. Also, the packaging was not new. I felt like I was getting a used shoe. The suede was scratched on the toe area. The overall quality of the boot was really nice, had it been in new condition. Just not pleased for the price I paid.

Very cute style and so soft. However it was incredibly small, both in width and length. I felt like my foot was being squeezed from the top. Have to send it back.

This is a very handsome shoe and I would liked to have kept it. I bought the taupe shade and it arrived with a nick in the leather, which does not appear to be a natural flaw. More importantly, there is no arch support. I inserted my prescription orthotics and this did not seem to help much. Finally, I purchased my usual size 8 med. width, but my heel raised out of the boots with every step. Returning.

I am so disappointed!! This is the second pair of these boots in black that I’ve received and both have the same issue. The suede on the entire toe for both pairs is matted down. Looks like some fixative was applied too heavily maybe. I just looked closely at the images of them in the listing and you can even see this issue on the photo samples in black. Such a bummer I have the grey pair of these boots and love them. So comfortable and stylish. I get compliments all the time. Zappos if you have a pair in the warehouse that isn’t damaged I would order again!!!

I ordered a 7.5 but like many other reviewers, what I received was a pair of shoes that were in an unlabeled box. I’m pretty certain they’ve been worn and I’m 100% certain they are not a 7.5, they are easily a size 8.5. So, if someone needs that size, they should go ahead and order. As others have said, they do not have a size listed on them. Bummer because these boots are super cute. But even with a larger size insert, they are just waaaay too big.

It is generous in the length and heel box so that it drops down when I lift my foot. I checked and it IS the right length, it just has a roomy illusion that makes it feel a little big. I have an arch support orthotic that will help it a bit. Great shoes!!

This brand just works for more… wide toebox.

Both pair of shoes were gifts and recipient already had two similar pairs.
