I've been looking for a couple years to find a coat that fills the void between the fall/spring and the ski/snowboard parka. Something I can wear to work, sledding with my kids, and everything in between. I found it with this. It's warmer and slightly bulkier than your standard micro/nano down coat but also comfortable and less intense than the full parka. Style is great as well. I wear it in western/northern New York and I'm warm and comfortable. Temps so far have been real feel in the teens with wind.

Brought this for my son for the cold weather, and when I say he fell in love with this coat, "I'm am not over exaggerating"!!! He loves the style and said it was very comfortable compared to the last coat I brought him. I'm thinking about buying one for myself.

Everyday wear.

It's a great jacket and you should buy the north face Sherpa with it. The Sherpa sweater and the jacket go together like peanut butter and jelly.
