There's no difference in warmth between this jacket and my Thermoball jacket. Very little down in shoulders and upper sleeves. Between the skimpy down and the fairly loose hem and sleeves this is not a warm jacket, especially in windy conditions.

It is for sure a great item, however the size has some issues. I am 5:7 but it feels short on my back and restrict my hands movement. On the third day, some feathers were out of the jacket; this just happened on the jacket, the vest until now is working great without any issues.

If you're looking for a jacket that will keep you warm during the colder months then you won't be disappointed with this. Incredibly lightweight and very comfortable. I'm 5'10 and thin and a size medium for this jacket fits almost perfectly. Only receives a 3 star rating from me because I don't appreciate paying an outrageously high price for a NEW jacket only to have it arrive smelling like someone's cheap cologne. Not a classy way to do business.

I'm 5'7" about 145 lbs. The sleeves are way too long; however, the body fit is OK. The jacket makes me look bigger than I am. If you're looking for a more fitting jacket I'd pick another.

Ended up returning, it was a little loose in the body, I'm 6' 165lb, and got a medium. Other than that, was fine, but overall look didn't wow me, pretty simple puffy jacket.

Not for cold weather by itself as I could feel the heat lose in shoulder area. One area of the shoulder seemed to be missing some insulation. Fits, feels, and looks great but the jacket missed its main function, keeping you warm.

Very disappointed. I finally convinced my self that a North Face jacket was worth the extra money b/c you get what you pay for after all. I have this jacket all of two weeks and the down filling is popping out all over the sleeves and body. This is going back

I liked the jacket but after the second day I got it the material started to mess up and change and the threading started coming apart and fur started to come out all over the jacket. I never did anything to it. I just bought the jacket

Big and boxy, not attractive on slim, 5’11” male who it was intended for.

I am big fan of all The North Face jackets that I have had over the years, so I suggested the brand to my husband and got him the Aconcagua Jacket - a big mistake. The jacket shed feathers from the get-go. As if that did not make the jacket look bad enough, after a few months we noticed sweat rings under the arms on the OUTSIDE of the jacket. How sweat penetrated through the inner lining, feathers, and the outer shell is beyond me. He, of course, has never had that happen before. He literally had to get rid of the jacket after a few months, as washing it corrected neither problem. What a disappointment and a waste of money. This jacket was not of the typical quality that I have come to know and expect from The North Face, unfortunately.

Won't recommend this one, I'm covered in down when wearing this thing, constantly have to dust myself off. Very disappointed considering the brand name....

It looks great on the website, but, in reality, it looks terrible, cheap, and ugly.

I really liked the color and fit! The zipper did not work. I returned this to the store.
