Very comfortable, right out of the box. Does take a minute to get straps adjusted perfectly, but once I did, they were fantastic. Love these for having more support than flip-flops. I have arthritis and they accommodate any swelling in my usually narrow feet.

These sandals are awesome. I love the look, the comfort, the fit. One minor complaint is that the adjustable strap that goes through the buckle was a bit too long on the left sandal and almost touched the ground. That may be an anomaly particular to this one sandal because the other one was fine. I was able to cut and restitch it so it's not a big problem. I will always buy Chacos.

My other Chacos are size 7, but I have needed a size 8 in other shoes recently. I ordered an 8, but it was too big. Returned them and ordered a 7, and they fit perfectly. The return/exchange experience with Zappos is quick and painless. The person I spoke with was personable and helpful.

Purchased these just to wear in the water. They’re great!! The material the straps are made of is comfortable wet or dry. I originally ordered a size 11 because I wear 10-10.5, the 11 was too big so I went back to a 10. I recommend going half a size down.

I'm still deciding on these. I love the look and fit, but I went with 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear based on reviews, and I'm not sure they fit my arches correctly yet. I'll try them again and see. I would order your normal size. The support is great and they are adjustable everywhere, so it the footbed fits, I think they would be extremely comfortable.

Size and fit felt true to size; however, even as someone with narrow feet, the straps rubbed a bit in the first week of use. After a quick breakin period, the shoes were a GREAT choice for a vacation with lots of walking and hiking--I was able to wear these for the majority of my trip. The shoes do make most people's feet look a bit wide, but I honestly wear these for comfort and function more than fashion.

I love them! My first pair had a strap around my toe and self-tightened. These new ones are awesome. We had heavy rain today - they’re fine and so am I.

I love this sandal. Have heard lots of good things about Chaco so am looking forward to hiking in them. I usually wear a shoe size 9 but the 9 was a bit big while being too narrow for me so I went with the 8 wide and they are perfect.

I purchased these in the coral and how do I love these shoes! They were super comfortable this summer with my assortment of unsolved foot issues. I wore them in the barn, gardening a lot, canoeing, wet or dry I love them dearly. I wish I could wear them all winter long as they are that comfortable! Chaco is the best.

Wasn't planning on getting a second pair of Chacos, but the rose gold metallic straps got me! The foot bed is super comfortable. I gave them 4 stars for comfort because the straps started to rub on my foot a bit the first time I wore them, but it is probably my fault for not properly breaking them in before a long walk. Fit is true to size. I prefer the Z straps vs the toe loop style. My first pair was the toe loop style and the toe loops tighten on my toe as I walk, so it is rather annoying. These, however, are great and just need a little breaking in!

I love Chacos. They have superior arch support and overall comfort for your foot. I love these sandals and I will keep them because they are so good for my feet. The only disappointment is that the wide is not really wide at all. Even with adjusting the straps, I can't get the clasp over to the side of my foot where it would be most comfortable. But this is a minor thing. Overall, I am very pleased.

It took me a few minutes to realize how I could adjust the strap - after that it felt great. I really like the sandal. I usually wear a 9 (sometimes a 8 1/2). I ordered the 9 and felt they were too long for me. There was a pretty big gap at the top of the shoe to where my toe started. I am reluctantly returning.

Love these sandals: great color, the footbed supports my arches. However, I have neuropathy, and the straps' placement put pressure on painful points on my feet. Sadly, I am returning both pairs.

Totally adorable but even with the instructions, I couldn't get them loose enough in my arch to make them comfortable.

I'd always passed up Chacos because of the price, but now I badly need athletic sandals that have some real orthotic value for taking long walks on my old arthritic feet. I've had Merrells and Keenes, Naots and Tevas, Nikes and Columbias, but these Chacos are the best to date. Immediately comfy with no strap rub whatsoever, they are sturdy and lightweight. They have a massive amount of arch support, which seemed too much at first, but the proof was in the walking; that arch support is awesome. I'll look for Chacos first in the future.

This is my 2nd pair of Chaco sandals...I wanted to try the Cloud sole. Not sure it is actually more cushiony but it is incredibly comfortable with the same great arch support as before. I usually wear 8 1/2 in shoes. My 1st Chacos were size9 and seemed a bit too long, so I bought a size 8 this time. It's a better fit (though in a perfect world these Chacos would be 1/4" longer). This pair is dressy enough to wear with a dress but works great with shorts too. I have Keen sandals I love too, but my feet don't get sweaty in my Chacos.

This is my 2nd pair of Chacos from Zappos. They were delivered in one day! My old pair are still holding out - I bought them in 2002, and still wear them almost daily. I've replaced the soles once, and I think they will last another 10 years, but I wanted another pair in black. Best shoes! Great arch support.

Not very fashionable but comfortable from the first day. My only problem is what to do with the strap that flops around after the shoe is secured. Great arch support for those who need it! Would definitely buy again as water shoes.

These sandals - while not a thing of beauty - are sturdy, supportive and comfortable. Unfortunately, when I adjusted them to fit my feet, I was left with ribbon flapping behind my foot and am told that cutting it will void the warranty. For this reason I am returning them. There must be a better way to make these sandals fit.

I have a 2yr old pair of chacos that feel fabulous for arch support and comfort, but have issues with the toe strap. Glad for the new styles with no toe strap. However, the new models are slightly narrower. I have normal to narrow feet so was really surprised. I know this will bother me over time so I am reluctantly returning them

Heavy sole but perhaps that works for hikers. Not for this grandma scootin' around town. Great arch support, just a heavy sandal.

I have many Chacos with the standard footbed, all size 8. I measure to an 8.5 but the 8 fits best. This style was too short in an 8 and the arch is too far forward. Sadly I returned them. I'm giving four stars because of the size problem.

Ordered women's size 9 M. The shoe is attractive and was comfortable except the strap across the top of the foot is too tight, so I had to return them. I have high arches and wide feet. The width was fine.

The Cloud Chacos are only M width and narrower than my Z/1 Classics. My foot was really squished so had to return them. Too bad. The Cloud footbed is softer to the touch and also more flexible than the Classics.
