Bought as a gift for grandson

My son been wanting this bag for 3 years now. Now he is a 4th grader so he gets to have it as a christmas gift. I already purchased 4 for christmas gifts.

I bought this for a gift for my nephew. This is what he wanted for Christmas. I had no problem making the purchase because I had bought the same style for my daughter when school started. It's a fantastic bag and was thrilled with our purchase which made it easy to share with my nephew.

Nice backpack overall, it can fit a good amount of stuff in the main compartment. Good for school, travel and work.

Great bag for school

I use it everyday... going to school... or work. Taking it to travel.

The Jester backpack is the perfect school backpack. I love how comfortable the backpack is on my back no matter how much stuff is in there. It holds everything I need: binders, folders, my laptop, great pockets for my pens and other small things. I also use this backpack when I go BMX riding (for those of you who don't know, it's those little bikes people do tricks on) and I be been forever looking for a backpack that doesn't fly around when I'm riding, since I move quite a lot. I used to own only JanSport backpacks, and this is a serious upgrade for such a small price difference.

I got this backpack because I needed a good quality pack that I could use for work and play. I live in Colorado and love to do outdoors activities. Like hike and ski most weekends. And I also needed the pack to use during the week for my mobile office. It does everything I needed and more. Has plenty of space and pockets for everything I need to haul daily including padded laptop sleeve. It is not a huge backpack and not tiny either. It is the perfect size! The quality is superb. Has a ton of padding on the shoulders and back for all day comfort. I have been searching for a pack like this for a very long time! 10/10!

I have been using a North Face Jester backpack for school for almost 3 years now. It's held up remarkably well and has been amazing. Because of this, I decided to buy another one for my brother, who was in need of a new backpack. One of my favorite things about this backpack, which is often overlooked by people, is the raised laptop compartment. Because the laptop compartment is raised, my laptop is always protected. Also, when it rains and the bottom of my backpack gets wet, I don't have to worry about my laptop getting wet since the compartment is raised.

I wish this had more pockets, but it's a great color and size for work!
