I am only giving this a negative comment based on color! I ordered the london fog heather. The part that appears to be an off-white color *the middle section" is actually a zinc grey color. It does not look like this in the picture on here!

I was extremely excited for this backpack and was throughly dissapointed when it came in. The straps were sewed on diagonally making it impossible to put on and use.

I got this product recently for my freshman year of high school. After the first semester it was a little dirty so I washed it, following all the instructions on the tag correctly. DONT EVER WASH THIS BAG!! Mine came out of the washer completely ruined. I would not recommend this bag to anyone unless they never plan on washing it!!! After discovering the faulty product that tore, I immediately emailed the company and still have not heard back from them!!!!

I got caught in the rain with this backpack on my college campus for only 2 minutes and when I got home the entire inside of the backpack was soaked through. I had to blow-dry all of my papers and I had to pay hundreds of dollars to fix my laptop because there was so much water damage. The backpack even had a sleeve for my laptop, suggesting it would be protected. For a backpack that is supposed to be for hiking, and has a laptop sleeve, it is certainly not practical and very misleading.

I purchased the Bindle Brown Jester North face backpack. I received it and the colour looks nothing like the picture! It's just a plain Grey. Would not recommend buying this backpack.

My mom bought me this backpack for my junior year in high school, and it is entirely too small. I have 3 1" binders and 3 fairly large textbooks, and it will only hold the binders and no textbooks. Very disappointed.

I was honestly extremely disappointed with this purchase. The backpack is pretty small and doesn't quite fit all of my books, laptop, etc. It is rectangular shaped and extremely stiff (as if they shoved cardboard in the part that rests against your back), and the straps are very short and thin and also stiff. This makes it very uncomfortable and down right painful while carrying a heavy load. This is not a good backpack if you're using it to carry anything relatively heavy. Seems cheaply made. I'll be sending it back.

I ordered this backpack BEFORE they changed the pictures on the website. The inner pocket is backwards which is the dumbest thing ever. I went to a North Face store to see if they could do anything and they said it was "supposed" to be backwards. Every other backpack is made normally with the pocket facing outwards. Don't get this backpack, the manufacturing mistake makes the backpack seem a lot smaller.

Very disappointed in this product from rain. Did not protect my books even when backpack zipped closed. Was told I would have to purchase a rain cover because NF backpacks are only water resistant. I don't even think they are water resistant. My books were soaked, and now I have to pay for damaged books. Had much better luck with JanSport backpacks, who stands behind their product! Would not recommend for college students, unless you intend to also purchase the rain cover.

I originally had another backpack, but since North Face no longer makes my original one, I was given this backpack. I went from Navy Blue to a bright Cosmic blue. I used to be able to get 5 days of clothes in my old backpack, and this one can barely fit 3. The laptop holder isn't necessary for a backpacker, but apparently all new backpacks have this. I'm going to return it and find something else that will suit my needs.

I got this backpack before I traveled out of the country for my study abroad semester and I absolutely loved it - I got it in a fun purple and blue plaid. But, only a few months after I purchased this backpack, the gray inside lining began flaking off in tiny little pieces. I had to stop using the backpack because the little bits of rubber/lining were getting stuck to/around/inside all of my books, notebooks, and anything else that I put in the bag. Very disappointed in such poor quality from The North Face.
