I thought that I had finally found an acceptable shoe / boot. Until I went to go lace them up tight and I see the finish coming off the leather from the shoestrings rubbing on the tongue!!! Poor, poor quality Rockport, and I expect better out of Zappos / Amazon in terms of "vetting" the shoes listed on their site.

Folks, Honestly was a bad experience for me with this shoes. stay away from buy this model, you guys have to see what happen to the shoes after first use I will provide a pics soon . its not a genuine leather they lied to us , the cracked and loose color . was a terrible experience to me I have to say , Never happen again

I got these for my son and the first pair seemed defective. The leather on the heel started to peel off, revealing the plastic core underneath. Zappos (amazing) customer service sent us another pair. Within a week they were showing the same issue. My son kept using them anyway, and now they are in terrible shape. These are too cheaply made for the price and they lose their shape very quickly. Even the laces fell apart. Too bad because these have a nice look.
