These are my 2nd pair of the same shoe and I love them. Very comfortable. Takes a few time wearing to break in the leather but once you do, amazing. Color was a little darker than my first pair but still looks great non the less.

Extremely comfortable, high quality leather, excellent value. I will never go back to Allen Edmonds again.

Don't need time to break them in. They are comfy from the get go!

This is hands down one of the best designs J&M has produced in the last decade. As they are changing the cap toe look for the Conard 2.0 (which looks terrible in comparison) I had to get another pair of these.

I really like these shoes. Very sharp in appearance. Very comfortable. Seriously considering buying the same kind in black.

Normally, I wear leather-soled shoes. However, for work, I often need to travel to cities where I have to walk significant distances, sometimes in inclement weather. For this, I wanted to get some shoes that are more comfortable to walk long distances, could stand up to rain / occasional snow, while still looking professional. So far, the Conard Cap Toe meets all three. They've been comfortable for walking and seem to be robust against the elements. Unlike most other shoes that are comfortable for walking, these look appropriate for a more formal business setting. While these won't be able to be refurbished like leather soled shoes, they're a good value at the list price.

Wore these right out of the box, for a formal function hat had me standing or walking around for over 5 hours! Not a hint of any pain or issue - they were the most comfortable show and true to the quality that Johnston & Murphy always provide. Highly recommend.

I am extremely happy with this shoe. I have worn-out two pairs of this shoe in brown and currently have a new (third) brown pair. This is my first time buying this shoe in black. At first it seemed more stiff or more rigid in black. The black shoe quickly broke-in and now fits and flexes comfortably. I believe the brown is more flexible overall, but not by much. The fit is great. I buy this shoe for the comfort, look, and price.
