Too hard. Just not the quality of shoe i am accustomed to.

Let me start off by saying I really like New Balance products. The quality is top notch and being made in the USA are reasons enough to support the company. I've owned 2 pair for 990 that have been the best athletic shoe I've ever had. When I needed a replacement this time, I decided to try a cheaper, lower-end style. There is nothing wrong with this shoe at all. It's comfortable, true to size and good quality. For me, I felt the support was inferior to the pricier V990. I returned these and will bite the bullet for the more expensive standby. Just works better for me.

These shoes did not fit my high arch wide foot well. I would not buy them again but they are pretty. New Balance is my standard brand, but not these They may work better for folks with flat feet. Not sure.

Thought wider toe bx would keep my big toe from hitting corner; but, no had same problem I have with other athletic shoes. In addition, the wider toe box was too wide. Just the way it is cut. (common problem for me). Someone said heel area narrower which would be good for me; but, no it is too wide same as with other shoes. It is helpful to have that second eyelet to tighten around ankle to help heel fit; but, in this case, not enough. It is a blah not particularly attractive shoe which would be ok if did not have all the usual problems. Sending back :(

I tried these in a WW size because other NB Wide shoes were to narrow in the toe box for me. Talk about overkill...these things were boats! They seemed to be totally lacking in arch support. I will be returning.

I normally wear a 6 1/2 in sneakers, but these felt too big - very wide in the front which made them look and feel clunky.

Revising previous review, now that I've worn them twice for light exercise. Very little arch support.

The wide toe box that is rounded instead of the normal shoe shape looks strange, but there was room to wiggle my toes. I didn't think they had much arch support or heel support. My left heel hurt within minutes of putting them on. If you have Plantar Fasciitis and heel pain these are not good for you.

I was disappointed in the fit.I have worn New Balance athletic shoes almost exclusively because they offer a narrow width. Having found one on line I hoped it would fit, but the toe area was too wide and it felt sloppy on my feet. I had to return these.

The heel felt as wide as the toe.

Not what I expected. Would be great with someone with very wide feet.

There once was a time when all New Balance shoes fit the same not matter which style was purchased. But no longer. I have always ordered a womens size 10, medium width. Lately New Balance shoes are either too wide and too long or have a short toe box and too wide. That's the trouble with the WW877. Additionally, the tongue is too short and the laces much too long. And, I personally wish that New Balance would bring back their Susan Komen women's walking shoe. It fit like a glove. For years the sizing was the same. New Balance - if it ain't broke don't fix it.

i have a narrow foot and have had several New Balance shoes marked 2A that fit ok even with my orthotic. But these shoes are so wide. I do not recommend them to anyone with a narrow foot because the toe box feels like it was made for a very wide foot. The colors and style of the shoe are great so i'm disappointed, but will be returning them

These WW877 New Balance shoes were extremely wide with little flexibility. They have almost no arch support. For anyone with a moderately high arch, he would need additional support.

Size felt 1/2 size smaller than similar NB shoes I have owned. Absolutely no arch support.

Overall they seem nice. They look nice and the quality is as expected.

These will be a good replacement for my walking shoes, once I add high arch orthotics.

I take a narrow shoe, which is why I often buy New Balance. Then have a wider toe box than most other shoes that I have. But I put my orthotics in them and they are fine. They don't have much arch support, which is why I use the orthotics. Now, they are very comfortable and have good support.

These are perfect!
