This style of New Balance shoes doesn't fit quite as well as the other model that I had in the past, but they will work. They say they are narrow, but feel more like a medium width.

I needed a wide shoe because of hammer toes and corns. I also needed arch support. This shoe is better than others I've tried.

I like the blue-gray color and light weight of this shoe. They do not run true to size, so I bought a size 9 instead of my usual 8.5, as recommended, and they fit. (Why doesn't New Balance just make their shoes true to size?) Some reviewers say the arch support is good, and some say there is none. I feel like there's a padded rod across the mid-insole, which is uncomfortable. One minor positive point is that the laces stay tied without double knotting.

I wear these shoes on my daily walk, about 2.5 miles most days. I've been wearing these shoes about a week now and they are finally getting broken in. I have an very narrow foot so proper lacing is very important. It's taken most of the week to get them laced to the point where my feet are snug and comfortable. Now that has been accomplished, I can say they are a great pair of shoes, comfortable, stable and snug.

I ordered 91/2 narrow. It's wider than just 91/2. I kept as I have such a hard time finding shoes. Don't order if you have a narrow foot

The sneaker isn't what I expected. They are very nice and the color is exactly what I wanted. But, they are very hard and stiff. I was expecting a softer more comfortable sneaker. I'm guessing it was my mistake and I'll be sure to be more careful with my next purchase:(

I've ordered this shoe before and while not as narrow as I need it has sufficed. This 2A really seems like a B. This pair seems even wider; the toe box crinkles when I walk with the excess material. I'm keeping them because I'm desperate for new shoes and they haven't had this size in for a long time. I did check the box to let me know when they were back in stock but never heard so just found out they were there by randomly checking. The tongue needs to be slightly longer.
