I have bunions and need a wide size, but it is so hard to find W shoes in my size 5.5. Rockport is one of the very few brands that offer shoes in styles that I actually like in my size. I got these to replace similar ones I'd purchased at a famous retailer that is now out of business. These fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I don't really like the slight platform sole, but I can live with it.

I ordered a half size down (I am a 6.5) per reviews bot was squished in the toes. I found the toe coverage a little shorter than expected compared with the pictures, although no toe cleavage showed on me. This in combination with the rounded shape of the toe made it look a little too bulbous, but not too objectionable. I will try ordering my normal size, since they did feel comfortable and I like the medium high heel.

I wanted to love this shoe but I just cannot wear anything with a pointed toe. This one did not look that pointed but it is so they were immediately uncomfortable for me. That being said, the foot bed looks sturdy and felt like it would be comfortable in a different style shoe. If you can comfortably wear pointed toes....go for it!

Smooth pair of classic black pumps with a slight platform on the front to make the heel height more palatable for those of us not used to it. The leather was high quality and the footbed soft, but I did have some toe cleavage. However, that may have been because they were about a half size too large - I'm a small 11, and these were far too big, never mind the fact they would have stretched a bit as well. I'm sad to return these especially because they were on sale, though Rachel Zoe did say that the black bootie was the new pump...at least out in LA.

I'm usually a 9.5, but the 9.5 were so large they wouldn't stay on my feet when I walk. I returned them and ordered a size 9. The 9's are so small I can barely get my foot in. So bizarre! I'm really disappointed because the larger size was ridiculously comfortable. I really felt like I could run a marathon in them. I love the rubber soles.

I was hoping the tie box would be wide, and the heel narrow. It was the opposite.

I have wide and high feet so I was hoping that these shoes would work. No luck! The toe box seems short and cuts across the top of the toe area causing pain. I also walk out of the heel and if I went down a 1/2 size, I'm sure they would be even more uncomfortable in the toe area. Very frustrating!

I’m hunting for a comfortable basic black pump that will accommodate a prominent bunion on one foot. So far, I have returned these shoes simply because they bite right into my bunion (aside from that, the shoes seem fine): Rockport Seven to 7; Rockport Total Motion Kalila; Trotters Kiera; Naturalizer Betty; and SAS Elaine. The hunt continues. I appreciate Zappos service of “sending the dressing room to me,” so I can try and compare various brands, styles, and sizes.

These are my go to work shoes. I’ve worn through 4+ pairs. Wish the heel was 1/2 inch higher for style. But they win the comfort award, and I’m on my feet and walking a lot.

I should have exchanged :/ they feel too narrow. Beautiful patent and they are still in excellent condition. I was too impatient to exchange. I will buy again 1/2 size up or W width.

These make me feel all sexy again! I’ve been very discriminating in shoe choice for two years now after knee and other leg issues. My doctor advised Rockport, Cobb Hill, and the like...I need the support and have totally avoided any slender heels. But I wear dresses daily and just crave to have at least one pair of pumps. These are a delightful find! The heel is substantial enough that I don’t feel I’m compromising safety or balance, and it’s not too high to give my knee angst. Even the sole beneath the toe box feels extra padded and I'm guessing it’s about a 1/4” thick.The patent leather is lovely. I won’t wear these every day, but now I don’t have to feel like I can only have “sensible” footwear.

Exchanged these for 1/2 size smaller. Perfect heel height. Shoes seemed extremely comfortable. Looking forward to getting rid of my tall heels I haven't worn in decades.

These are beautiful shoes... I bought them in an 8W in Rich Taupe. The rounded toe is forgiving for wide feet... though not as stylish as pointy.... and the heel height is moderate. My foot is a 7.5 / 8 wide. very Fred Flinstone. These shoes ran short in the length. They are only a C width... so they are just a little Wider than regular width. I'm going to try them a size up and see if they might work.

Great heel! Excellent padding for comfort. Heel is shorter so it is more comfortable to walk in but still looks stylish.

Read previous reviews prior to purchase. I wore the shoes standing for about four hours. They were comfortable with the rounded toe box and soft insoles. They were higher than expected but the front lift balanced the height. I had no problems walking. I appreciated the many reviews assisting with this purchase.

I always wear a 10W and have other Rockport shoes, but this was much too big. I am returning for a smaller size. The shoe is beautiful though!

These are my best, simplest professional 'go to' shoes. They look sharp, dress up anything remotely office-worthy and are comfortable enough to walk to lunch and back without discomfort.The heel doesn't pitch me forward into the toe of the shoe, doesn't position my hip incorrectly (-that is to say some heels this height throw my hips so I hurt after awhile, but these don't.) I live in San Francisco and try not to wear them for more than about 8 blocks at a time, but those 8 blocks are comfortable. I get many compliments, especially from people who say, "I don't know how you can still wear heels." I can't wear most heels. These are great! I'm ordering my 3rd pair, because I wear them out like runners with trainers.

I can wear these ALL DAY. When I come home I don't even bother to kick them off, first thing. The most comfortable heels I've ever owned. Buying more in other colors.

Insanely comfortable. The best heels I have ever worn. Due to the hidden platform, the heel feels much lower than it actually is. The inside also has a padded liner that feels great on. I want to buy these in every color. Rockport, do not ever stop making these. Literally ordering a second pair in black right now.

I have bunions and am very picky about how my shoes fit, and I love these. It's a great combination of both comfort and style, which is rare! I now have three pair of these. I usually wear a 10 and the 10 fit perfectly.
