My High School age daughter has been thrilled with this backpack. It can fit all of her binders, a laptop, lunch, and books -- a tall order that this pack delivers perfectly.

Excellent bag! It's functional, stylish and durable. The small front compartment is perfect for valuables since it both buttons and zippers. The larger main compartment fits a lot more than you would think and has a safe place to keep a laptop. Very thick fabric and straps. A great buy.

Beautiful teal color and bag! The inside is super spacious and the laptop sleeve is very handy. The padding on the outside back and straps are comfortable when the bag gets heavy. The only thing I wish it had is a water bottle holder.

The backpack is just what I expected! Stylish and roomy. The leather straps are a great touch. The backpack is the perfect size for traveling. The main compartment and smaller pouch are generously sized. Would definitely recommend.

Love this bag, bought it for the boyfriend but was tempted to keep it myself. It needs to have more compartments inside the main compartment. Seeing as one large pocket everything seems to disappear into. Also, the leather straps that secure it closed seem a bit low quality. Otherwise, love the bag.

The bag is awesome! I can fit everything. Clothes books and college stuff. This is the best college bag there is! The style is great too! It has a laptop holder inside. I have the color in black and the interior design is really stylish. But the most awesome part is that Zappos delivery service is awesome! I order the bag on Sunday night around 8pm. And I applied for free shipping so its around 4-5 shipping business and the bag came on Thursday afternoon! Exactly in 4 days! Zappos also have great sale deals! I couldn't ask more!

I purchased a vintage motorcycle this summer to save money on my commute each day and needed a cool backpack to replace my briefcase. This Herschel ones works out perfectly. It expands enough so I can carry a ton of stuff besides my computer . I constantly get compliments on the style from other people, many of whom are interested in purchasing one themselves. I absolutely love it!

I had the exact one he had in the video, but unfortunately, I'm in Brooklyn and someone stole my bag, and I want to buy the exact one but they have no more green.

This backpack is awesome. I have been searching for a bag like this forever. The construction is perfect and it looks great. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone.

This is a nice quality bag and it’s a great size. The laptop sleeve on the inside is very nice, protective and one of the best I’ve seen. However it needs more pockets! There is one almost too skinny pocket inside and one pocket on the front of the bag which is the only reason I bought this bag over the Retreat bag. The clip inside the front pocket is useless. There is no leash on it and it’s very hard to squeeze open to get anything off the clip. For the cost of this bag Herschel should offer more useful features to this bag like a useful pocket on the inside and bottle pockets on the outside to start.

This is a sharp-looking bag that I bought for work/travel. With the red/white lining, the inside is nice and bright. The laptop sleeve is a decadent fleece and the inside pockets have strong velcro.

I bought it as a gift. The receipant told me that he found this item very useful and like the design and color.

Spacious backpack with a very simple design and great functionality. Would like to have a pocket or two more, possibly a place to put a water bottle, but it's a good quality backpack.

This is a well-constructed bag. I needed something to carry my laptop and other books and things on domestic and international trips. I like that the straps and back is so well-padded; it eases the strain of carrying heavy things. It's stylish and I like the color. It's not so easy to get into this back if you take one strap off and sling it around to your front; the front pouch hits me in the face, but that's minor. I like that it's a fashionable and functional backpack. Those are hard to find.

Good backpack, but too big for a girl.

I'm generally happy with this backpack. It's very stylish and spacious. What I'm not satisfied with are the magnetic straps. They are a pain to close because they don't link up easily. So if you're looking more for functionality than style, you may want to choose another pack.

I love the quality and durability of the bag but I wish it had more small pockets inside or outside and a side pouch for a water bottle. I bought this for a recent plane trip with my two year old thinking it would be easier than a diaper bag to carry. It fit a lot of toddler stuff, but it was more deep than wide and it would have been nice to have more internal compartments to keep items organized while traveling. If you are using it for work or travel for yourself - it is perfect, and why I am going to keep it. It may not be great for toddler gear but it is certainly good enough for my gear.

Broke within the first use. The metal finishing where the drawstring meets the bag came undone. The magnetic claps were already showing wear, and speaking of which, are pretty difficult to quickly get in and out of the bag. Functionality-wise this bag just wasn't right for me. I wanted to use casual day travel, but it was too big for what I need. I'm female standing at 5'2" and I feel like I'm going to drown in this bag. I've gotten some compliments though. So it passes in the looks department.

Backpack with great style, huge inside but still fits nicely on a woman's body. Actually exchanged this (for the Herschel Little America Weather Pack in red) because the "leather" straps are obviously imitation leather. This is a smart looking bag but I'd rather pay more for real leather, the fake leather brings the awesomeness factor down. The red bag I exchanged it for has plastic/rubbery straps which are pretty cool looking. Only other con is that the shoulder straps are kind of wide for girls, it would be nice if they were a wee bit thinner. Overall I think this is a pretty fashionable bag that can hold a lot of stuff and it definitely fulfills my needs.

I currently own the navy version of this backpack and as a current high school sophomore who is taking two AP classes, I can honestly say that this can hold all of my books. However, it is awkwardly tall so just beware that not all the space in the bag is usable. Some of it is just space at the top. Also, this backpack is super comfy, no back problems so far! Definitely 100% better than any type of shoulder bag. And super stylish. Ever since buying this bag I've seen at least five others with Herschel Supply Co. bags, though. They are popular, so do not expect to be completely unique.

Great, versatile backpack. I use it to transition between work, school and travel. I really like the drawstring closure of the main compartment. I can easily tow by iPad, wireless keyboard and notes along with yoga clothes and a water canteen. I actually like that there are minimal features, key hook in small pocket and computer divider in main compartment. I think there's an earphone port, too. Get it in a vibrant color!
