Very comfortable, sturdy, and warm. They seem like they will last a long time, as have other Rockport shoes that I've owned. I actually tried these on in a retail store first and asked the employee if they didn't look like "old man" shoes and she assured me they did not, saying "I wouldn't let you walk out of here with old man shoes." I'm really happy with this shoe. It would be nice if it went on clearance - I might even buy a duplicate pair.

Having a very wide foot and high instep I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. These are great, I have them in brown and black. True to size and durable.

I am preparing to order my second pair. I am pleased to let you know that I purchased these shoes from Zappos. I have worn them 365 days a year for two years, replaced the laces twice, and I finally have a slight hole in one heel to where the air cushon is. I lost part of my heel in a chain saw accident 15 years ago and this is the very first pair of shoes that I have been able to wear comfortably. I have even bought the high priced for a pair German shoes and these are better.

The Rockport line is the most predictable fit of any shoe I've ever worn. The sizing is consistent (at least for me) across the many models I have bought through the years. These Bannis are ridiculously comfortable, and are fast becoming my favorite for overall use. And they look nice enough to wear with most business clothes while also fitting well with casual wear. I love 'em.

These shoes are very well constructed and very comfortable. I've worn them for a month or so now and it's clear to me that they'll hold up well over time. They're now my favorite pair.

This is the second pair I have ordered for my husband. Nice looking and comfortable from the first time he wore them. Hopefully they will still be in stock the next time we need to order.

Delighted with the shoes. I'm considering a second pair. I have a wide foot (EEE) and had hard time deciding on which width to select before purchasing. It would be nice if using the manufacturer's width and length would assure a close fit. Zappos return policy takes the sting out of exchanges. The customer services person was six out of five stars. These are great. I got them for my husband to replace a pair chewed by the puppy (they are not dog proof). They are comfortable, look dressy, and provide enough support. I can't get him to wear anything except for Rockport's for work.

Very nicely made mean's shoe. Comfortable straight out of the box, but after a few days wear my husband noticed a blister on both heels in spite of the shoe fitting well. Some Bandaids on the heels helped with that! He wears them frequently to the office!

These shoes are comfortable, well made, and good looking. I have had issues with shoes recently bought, and I'm grateful that Rockport makes shoes in EEEE. I highly recommend these shoes.

Just what I was looking for in a casual shoe I can wear to work. I'm usually a 13, but had to get size 12, which fit great.

Shoe is sporty looking and is best worn with casual dress such as khakis and jeans. Style is great for that dress style and for walking activity.

These Rockports are soft inside and very comfortable. I used mine for the first time at a three day conference and they never became uncomfortable, and they look good with dark and light pants.

Great shoes! They were true to size, are very comfortable, plenty of toe room, decent quality leather, and look great with casual dress work clothes. I have no regrets with the purchase.

I was looking for comfortable wearing shoes for every day casual use. This fits that desire very well. Have only been wearing it for a couple of days but I expect it will be just fine in the long run

I have wide feet and I bought this shoe for the look and the price but unfortunately the shoe runs very narrow. I bought the "XW" size, which is labeled as being comparable to a 4E but it is no where near that size in the middle of the shoe. It felt wide enough near my toes but as you got back toward the middle of the foot, it got MUCH narrower. It seemed to me that they kept the same size through the back to middle of the shoe and only widened the portion near the ball of the foot.

These are comfortable but arch support is a bit lacking. The shoe seems to run a little on the large side. Overall it’s well made.

These are great shoes and this is the third pair I've bought. I wear them to work every day. They are probably the most comfortable shoes that I wear. Each one has lasted me a couple years. My only complaint is that the shoes laces often come apart and so I have to get replacements after about a year. Otherwise they are great.

This is a nice looking shoe, with good soles and good support, but it felt narrower than I expected and it pinched my foot. So I had to return the item.

For those who need wide shoes, these are very comfortably wide. However, they have basically no arch support. I purchased inserts with an appropriate arch and they feel dramatically better. Alas, the inserts cost almost as much as the shoes.

The Rockport size 12 shoes normally fit fine, but these are a little long. Will try an 11.5 if possible, or maybe even an 11. It's a nice shoe though, good looking, and seems well made.

Fit was good but shoe defective with loose stitching

Sizing was great and this is a very comfortable shoe. However, after about 2 weeks one of the shoestrings is unraveling and the shoestrings don't stay tied. Other than that, great shoe.

This is my third pair. They wear well, and I'm very tough on these shoes. Leather holds up well and the heel wears pretty much as expected over long use. I've never worn through the sole, heel, or leather. Usually wear them for a year or so before they need to be replaced. Previous pairs bit into the ankle until they were broken in, but this pair doesn't have that problem. Previous pairs have had a problem after some use where the shoe squeaks. It's not the sole against the floor - it's something internal. Maybe it was something structural. I don't know. But I tried WD-40 - thanks internet - and that worked. The laces don't wear particularly well, but I wear these every day, and so maybe that shouldn't be surprising. For the money, excellent value.
