I read several reviews and took the advice to order smaller because they run big. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller and couldn't get my foot in at all. I exchanged for my regular size and still couldn't get me foot in. These boots have a horribly narrow opening where it angles 90°. I have a normal width foot too. Stylish looking but how are people fitting in these? Very poor design.

These boots rip open my Achilles heel with every wear. The junction between the lower, stiffer part of the boot and the upper softer area nips and and it is so painful. The rubber soles are also not very flexible, so I found them to be really uncomfortable to clomp around in all day long.

At first they feel a little tight. You have to give them time to form to your feet. Only thing is you can't wear thick socks but thats ok they keep your feet warm anyways. I got my normal size 8.5

Love, love, love these boots! So warm and stylish! Had to buy 1/2 size larger than my normal size. Highly recommend!:)

These boots are amazing! I almost went for a cheaper style of sorels but after reading all the reviews I’m so happy I went for the splurge! These boots keep me warm and more importantly dry!! I work for usps and I have to report to work no matter what the weather is so if there’s any snow or rain I don’t leave the house without them!! I will say the instep in these is a little narrow but I have narrow feet so it wasn’t an issue for me.

I regularly wear a 7, and every now and then 7 1/2. I ordered the 7 1/2 thinking the extra room would be good for socks, but ended up exchanging for the 7. Love it!! Comfy right out of the box. Gray is super cute.

Ack! What a winter we’re having here in the Midwest- so cold and snowy!! I got these gorgeous boots just in time- I need these for clomping around in the snow. The fit is right and my feet are comfortable. I haven’t been outside for extended periods of time so not sure if my feet would stay warm in these but I think they would be okay. As others have said they are a little hard to get your foot into but just loosen up all the laces down to the bottom which should help. Great investment and really cute boots!!

I bought these specifically for the snow. Got a 1/2 size larger so I can double up on socks (compression socks and then hiking socks). They are snug and took some effort to slide my foot into them, but I figured that was better than being too loose. Kept my feet dry and warm. Was also able to run around in them. Would definitely recommend!

I’ll try not to ramble here. Hubby says I talk too much.. I bought the 9.5 womens. I read the reviews did all my homework.. yet sadly had to exchange for my NORMAL size! Everyone saying order 1/2 or whole size up. Ah .. no. I wear a 9 always got the 9.5.. I wear heavy ski socks.. they were so big that just taking 12 steps (thick socks on)... I could feel heel slipping up & down. Way too big. Great shoe! Super cute! My. Normal size 9 is on the way. As usual, Zappos is very helpful w returns. But beware of Anyone telling telling or typing to order up. Not needed at all. FYI I never leave feedback. Thought I’d save someone a exchange.

I am in the unenviable position of having a bunion which widens my left foot drastically. I've had to order a large number of boots to find one that doesn't compress my affected foot. I know other (mostly) women have bunions so I question why more shoe and boot makers don't make a wide option. That being said, my options are to buy a women's somewhat roomy shoe or purchase men's boots. These Sorel boots are the first boots that are somewhat roomy. My only concern is once I wear them outside in the snow, they might start to hurt my feet and I won't have a back up pair. I bought these anyway because my spouse thinks they'e cute. I'm not a "cute" person but they don't look bad. Also, I had to order a size larger than I normally wear to help accommodate my deformed foot. I do strongly urge any woman with a bunion to consider these boots. Rest assured, I have tried every other pair out there.

I bought these to replace a 4 year old Joan of Arctic that finally caved to the harsh Minnesota winter. These new Joan of Arctic Sorel boots saved my feet during the -30 degree winter of 2019. And they look fabulous doing it. I've gotten so many compliments from men and women about the color and style. Men wish they made a male version of my Joan of Arctic. So if you're jonesing for a functional and fab winter boot, you arctic look at these!

These are super cute...however, they tend to rub on your achiles heel. The fur can also look sort of awkward on the top of you have wider calves. It leaves a gap

Amazing! Can’t believe I waited so long to purchase these. I didn’t experience difficulty getting the boot on as some reviews suggested. These are perfect even in the Chicago cold!

I love these boot! So glad I bought them. I usually wear a size 10 and that's what I bought. I have narrow feet and these boots run wide. When I tried them on, the heel area would ride up but not enough where it couldn't be fixed with an extra pair of socks. If I had bought a 1/2 size smaller like some people suggested on the site, they wouldn't have fit me. Remember these are winter snow boots, your feet need room to breathe. They take a moment or two to get them on your feet as well. Untie them completely before you put your feet in them. These aren't the type of boots that just slip on. Hopefully that will go away with wearing them in. They are nice and warm no issues there and I live in Chicago where the weather can change several times through out the day. Everybody seems to have them here. That is one of the reasons I bought them. I couldn't wait to get them out in the snow and they were great. I totally recommend, a good investment especially for those who live where it snows a lot! They are Sorel so you know they are good quality and you will have them for years to come.

So this is a review to the boot's longevity. I've had this boot for about 5 or so years now with heavy use in the winter working at a ski resort. It's super warm and cozy and your feet stay dry (unless you step in snow that goes over the top but that's a given, just cinch 'em up). Traction isn't the best on ice, but better than most. Give the liners a wash before you put them away in the spring to keep them "fluffy" on the inside. Super cute for apres ski, trudging around running errands, etc. They aren't super "sleek" and may feel a bit "clunky" but cute and functional. A win-win for the winter...contemplating which new pair to get just because I love them so much.

Love these boots! The color is slightly different than the picture shows but only by a little bit. They still have reddish hue to them but they are slightly darker and more brown. I ordered them because I was hoping they were that red color and when I got them, even with the difference, I fell in love. The boot certainly feels high quality and worth the price paid - very warm, well constructed and high quality materials. I love the snap strap over the fur insert. It helps with putting the boot onto your foot easily. My only caveat is that the boot is a little difficult to get off. Worth every penny in my opinion!

LOVE! I have wanted these boots for couple of years, but kept stalling. When I saw the black with the red laces I literally placed on order immediately. I am ECSTATIC! The boots are warm, comfortable and gorgeous! I cannot wait to wear these. I have several Sorel styles, and I continue to be thrilled with their items. I am a 7.5, ordered same, and they are a good fit. I could have gone to an 8 and that would have been fine as well, but there is no way these run large. Premium boots, designer look, what more can you ask for? Worth every penny!

Adorable and Comfy - I am so glad Sorel boots run wide. I usually wear an 11 wide, but tried these in 11 regular after reading all the reviews. Well, they fit great. My calves are a bit too chunky for me to tuck my pants into the top, so I just roll them up and they look great all scrunched over the fur trim. If I had to wear heavy socks with them, they probably wouldn't fit, but they keep my feet soooo toasty there's no need for socks at all. And, I was surprised how easily they pulled on and off, considering their height. Yay! Love my new boots!

Very hard to get my foot in to the boot. Normally I am 9-9.5 and I ordered 9.5 and it was very tight with normal sock.
