Lots of toe space, good support and spongy! This is my second pair of keens. I even use this pair for my 3 mile walk. I have bunions and it is hard to find really comfortable shoes. I normally take a size 9 but the 9.5 fits better. I feel light on my feet with these since they feel very supported and sturdy! When shoes fit properly, they are a good investment. I feel that these shoes fit that criterion.

Keen is all over the place with size. Zappos is awesome! I feel bad having to send Keen's back, but I can never be sure of their sizing. I never wear bigger than 9.5 I even tried them on in the store just to be safe because this has been going on with Keen for some time. Order these shoes, and they are fitting like a 9, maybe 9.5. I keep trying Keen but I give up. I have ordered a ten before and then those come way too big. Keen needs some quality control. If you find these to fit, these shoes are otherwise awesome.

Great shoes! Took them hiking on the Hawaii lava flows and was glad to have such durable shoes for the sharp terrain.

I don't know if I could love these shoes any more! They're fantastic! Much cuter than I even thought they'd be (I got the gray and green), and they're very comfortable. I usually wear between a 6 and 6 1/2, and from reading the other reviews I decided to get the 6 1/2. Definitely the right choice, the fit is perfect! Can't wait to wear these hiking next season. Great grip, and I love that they protect my toes. Worth every penny!

I found the service to be very quick and the product I ordered was just what I wanted. The price was also good.

This is my sixth pair of Keens and the second pair of this style (the first pair lasts forever). I love these shoes they are comfortable in every way. I wear them for my walks in the mornings, for long shopping trips and they are always in my bag on trips. They support my fallen arches and my feet don't get tired. I love Keen shoes I only wish they would make another open toe version.

Keen indeed! I have been searching for a comfortable all-purpose shoe for ages and this sandal absolutely clobbers the competition. So long, Chaco, Birkis and Tevas! I will probably buy three or four more pairs of Keen shoes and toss everything else out. Also, they are cute, after the fashion of pug dogs or elderly Volkswagens. Thanks for carrying these, Zappos!

I've worn the Newport H2 for years, but my last new pair was 2 years ago. I ordered these (April '23) and was so darn disappointed. First of all, I had to try them 3 times for the correct size. My shoe size is a 7, but a 7.5 in this sandal - as of 2 years ago. This year's size 7.5 was much too short/narrow. I tried the 8 and it was still too narrow at the midfoot & back to the heel, but fine in the toes. The 8.5 was much roomier all around, but I returned these due to a heel issue. Maybe my heels have "widened" recently, but these are the only shoe/sandal that has too narrow of a heel cup for me. The sides of my heels started hurting, where the heels press against the back straps. Meaning, where these straps are attached/inserted into the insole there is a hard, small bump. My heels felt this right away, either size, so I had to sadly return them. There just isn't enough width before the heel sides go up to meet the back straps.

I'm comparing them to my 7-year-old Keen CRX. Overall they feel right, but they appear very different. They are much more rugged (?) and better for walking on rocks than my CRX, maybe because the whole amphibious shoe design history told them to make it bigger (see picture - CRX on the left and H2 on the right). If they had a European 37 that would be perfect-- but the sizes appear to be 7 = 37.5 But I'm walking around in them, and they might be better for running through clouds of mosquitoes.

The shoe is comfortable and really looks great on. My friend warned me, when I told her I was looking to buy this style of shoe, that they get very smelly and taking them off is like dropping a bomb. Unfortunately I can tell that she's correct in her assessment, despite my best efforts and the shoe manufacturer's assertion of AntiMicrobial EVA footbed inhibits foot odor and controls moisture.

These are very hard to put on. Once I struggle to get the back strap I. Place they're very comfortable, but it shouldn't be this hard. There's no stretch and no way to adjust the back.

These Keen Newport H2 sandals have sadly changed over the past few years, for the worse. They now are very narrow and at least a half size small. This was one thing my feet could count on for perfect comfort, but I haven't been able to wear them for about 3 years. At least they're manufactured elsewhere now, so the inside feels soft & resilient again. The past year's models were hard on the insole, so that's an improvement. I will try one more time to get a half size larger, to see if the width is manageable. My usual 7.5 in these were too narrow & short, heels were hanging on the outside edge.

Once I got these on, they seemed comfortable, but I wasn't planning on such a struggle to put this type of shoe on my foot. I released the cord to its fullest, but I still was unable to slide them on easily without more hand strength. It would help to have the back strap open up completely. When designing a comfort shoe, it might be a good idea to consider hand strength of an arthritic consumer.

I like the ruggedness of these shoes, but they rub my pinky toe. They are going back. I have the Venice H2 and like them, but I'm scared they are too short.

Loved the shoes but they do not fit or feel like other pairs I have of the same style and brand. The fabric is very stiff, the left shoe feels decidedly narrow, and the slider thingee does not work well. It seems as if they are knock-offs of Keenes. So disappointed.

Big disappointment on changes to a style I have enjoyed in the past. Shoe has been redesigned and the adjustable velcro has been eliminated. There is a small opening to squeeze your foot through. Once you wiggle, wiggle, wiggle your foot in through this opening, you may be happy. The elastic with cord lock is adjustable to tighten or loosen the shoe, but the opening to cram your foot in is not adjustable except for the small amount of stretch in the shoe. I really liked the previous versions of this shoe and have purchased several over the years. I cannot wear this one. I don't want a shoe that it takes 5 minutes to wiggle into. Big disappointment.

Very disappointed that KEEN changed the styling on this shoe. I absolutely loved my last pair. Perfect arch support. Wide front area. Easy to wear with or without socks. I just tried two different sizes of the “updated” version and both were uncomfortable. Awkward arch positioning, narrow upfront, and fabric irritated small toe. Farewell KEEN…Looking to other brands now.

I have a fallen arch from an injury and these shoes offer good support. They are pretty and comfy too. Keens are my go to for getting on and off the boat and being around the dock. My last pair is starting to fall apart and they are 8 years old.

I selected this shoe for comfort, arch support and to wear around pools and beach. I prefer closed toed sandals and appreciate this option. They are comfortable and easy to wear. As I have narrow feet, I have to tighten the cords further and then it under so as not hang out.

The price has gone up on this shoe, but the quality is still very good, perhaps even better. The sole feels lighter but just as sturdy as my older Keens.

Love Keen shoes. Fit better than expected because on the narrower side. Ordered the same size I always do. The grey color is a bit lighter than in the pictures, but not different enough to send back.
