I love these shoes! I have 2 pair. My story: I needed a new pair of walking and gym shoes and wanted them to be cushy since I have been dealing with overall muscle aches and arthritis this past year. I usually wear a narrow in Brooks Ghost (and they are wonderful shoes) but only 2 colors are offered. I have had a more narrow foot all my life so nice cushy running shoes are usually only B width or wides and too wide in the front and sometimes the heel. I have had a problem for years getting shoes that fit (and need doctoring) in general. I went to a local running store to get an updated feet assessment and recommendations. They confirmed narrow foot, low arch, low instep. They brought out some brands (and none were a narrow width since they did not stock them). Mizuno Wave Sky 8 was the first I tried. I came back to it after 3 other tries. I was amazed that it fit like a glove (with original insert). It was cushy. I bought it. They did not have another color so I came to Zappos and bought a second pair. I am considering a third. When your body and back gives you issues the shoes you wear are so important and the investment is worth it. I suggest that if your foot is more a true medium you may find these a comfy fit or too narrow - you just have to try. Even different makes in a brand fit differently. There is a wide available too. I had not heard of this brand before but I am so glad I found a brand that I can switch off with my Brooks and be comfortable and supported.
