This is my first pair of Mizuno's and like the reviews said I ordered up a 1/2 size to a 9 and they were still too small. With Zappos' great customer service I exchanged them for a 9.5 and they fit perfect. I got the black/silver/purple and they awesome looking.

This is my first pair of Mizuno’s (I usually run in Nike or ASICS). They have exceeded my expectation. Super comfortable, fit well, and look better than I expected. I’m very happy with them.

I ordered these shoes in a wide and they just weren’t wide enough. If they were slightly wider they would be perfect. Overall they were super comfortable and gave great support just needed to be wider for my foot.

I've been looking for a black sneaker for months now and finding it challenging. I severely overpronate and have very achy heels and this shoe did nothing for me other than meet the aesthetic criteria. It seemed to lack cushioning, good arch support and for the money, wasn't really worth it. I think sneaker manufacturers have mostly lost their way. Their charging premium prices but not putting much into their products unfortunately. These went back...on with the search.

These shoes are comfy & supportive. I bought the 7&1/2 and then the eight because I tend to vacillate between the two depending upon the style. I’m returning the size eight because my foot is sloshing around in the eight, & the heel slips a little. I decided on this decided on this shoe in part because the reviews said that it was a little more roomy in the toe box and it leans toward a wider fit. I didn’t really find either of those things to be true, but it’s still more comfortable than the ASICS Kayano. I haven’t worn them on a run yet, so I’ll update this review a little later.

I love this shoe! They feel great on my feet and are beautiful. I typically have sized up a half size for running shoes and did the same for this shoe. The fit is nice. I have long toes and skinny heals-there is enough box in the front for my toes to feel comfortable and the shoes do not pop off my heals. The shoes are cushiony, comfortable, and sharp looking!

I bought this running shoe since I read that it was known for its support and stability, which I need as I'm 1 year out from a broken foot. I've been happy with this shoe and feel like it's living up to the hype.

Fit was a problem for me. I wear an 8.5 is in street shoes and 9 in running shoes and my old mizunos. There were a bit short, and had a super thick fabric in back that made it cumbersome to get the shoes on and off. I decided to send back and not size up because of the fabric at the back of the ankle. They had lots of spring and arch support.

Extremely comfortable. I am a true 7.5 but sized up to an 8 and they fit great. I wish there were less dorky colors to choose from. Why can't running shoes look discreet like athleisure sneakers? Otherwise, fantastic shoe.

I really liked the appearance and fit of these shoes initially. They would be a great choice for someone who needs a stability shoe and over pronates. I hoped they would work for me, but unfortunately they had a high arch support that rolled my foot outward, and I really need a neutral footbed. So I reluctantly returned them for a pair of Brooks Ghost 11s in narrow. It’s so hard to find narrow running shoes in nice colors and I loved the Mizuno color and hate the one narrow color of the Brooks. But fit comes first.

The shoes look great and I can wear them in the gym as a coach all day. The only issue I have is they are a bit narrow and the sides of my feet push out on the sides. Other brand shoes do not have this issue in the same size. The edges of my toes that touch the shoe were sore during the day. If I had not already worn them, I would return them and get a wider version, but they are sold out. I still get the Sahara review the calls with the right fit they are awesome!

I use mizuno all the time. A good fitting sneaker and consistent quality. Except these ones. The medium felt much narrower than what I am used to from the wave inspire and wave creation that I’ve used for years. Super comfortable. But definitely a bit narrow.

I was an Asics Nimbus guy for years. And then they changed the shoe. Newer is not always better. In this case, it was much worse. The 18 was the last one I bought. I tried many different brands looking for a substitute for the cushioned feeling, wide toe box, etc. I stumbled across the Mizuno Wave Rider 21, It's the best replacement that I have found. I no longer run, due to 2 hip replacements, so I use these at the gym for lifting and the aerobics machines. There is no doubt in my mind these would be great to run in. I take a Men's 7.5 2E and they fit like the Olddddd Nimbus. I would recommend these as a fine replacement for the Asics Nimbus. Enjoy.

I literally made it 10 minutes into my running treadmill workout before my feet were in severe pain. I usually run in Brooks Glycerin, but thought I would try these due to the great reviews. I guess I will be going back to them.

This is the fourth pair of prophecy shoes I’ve had (3,4,5,7). I used to wear 10.5s but felt that the last pair was a little close to my toes. These give me a bit more room but my foot is still held firmly and comfortably. I love these shoes. I routinely put 600-700 miles of street/urban running on them and they show minimal wear. Other shoes only last about 500 miles. I run 2-5 miles regularly but have also worn prophecys for a half marathon.

OK, I found it hard to rate "size" with the stars, since this Mizuno Sky 2 was so different than the wonderful, original Sky. The toe box felt small, as it seems to slant down to the front of the shoe too quickly. But the heel was so wide, I could slip the shoes right off my foot without untying them. Too bad! I have worn Mizunos for years, and the Wave Sky original was such a winner. I have returned these, and will keep looking.

Mizuno's have always fit my feet the best. And these continue to be that shoe. If anything, the recent fabric updates to the upper and the collar in particular make it a better, more comfortable fit. Also - nice colors this time around.

I'm very happy with these shoes. Mizunos seem to fit my feet very well for some reason, and my experience has been that they are well made. The only reason I didn't give the style 5 stars is that the gray has a purplish hue to it and I would prefer that the shoes were truly gray. They feel great though.

I ended 2018 with a running related ankle injury. After an MRI and a trip to the podiatrist I learned I needed a stability shoe to fix my overpronation in order to continue running again. I plan to run a marathon at the end of 2019, so I ordered about 8 different pairs of shoes to see what worked best. These were by far the most comfortable and best fitting shoes I tried on! A lot of the stability shoes I tried were either too wide, too stiff or too loose in the heel for me to run in. Or, let’s face it, some are pretty ugly. These fit snug but not too tight, fit great with my orthotic inserts, and they’re cute! I ordered the same pair in a different color so I could have the proper footwear for cross training and running outdoors. I’m confident that these will cross the finish line at my marathon this fall!

Very light and comfortable, except there are bumps (I think these may be called lugs?) in the heelbed that are really prominent, so it feels like you have something stuck under your heel. Too bad because it would have otherwise been a decent shoe.
