Had an issue with the top of the shoe being right on my toes (the deepness, not the length). When stepping I could feel the top mesh rubbing. Sometimes I use running orthotics for extra support, and I don't think I would have room in these shoes as they are already too shallow. The design looks more chunky in person.

This shoe is better suited for walking than running (due to its weight) but is a very good shoe for heavier people with instability issues. The Mizuno wave horizon 7 is well made and will last a long time, definitely worth the money.

I love Mizuno but these are the only 12 2E that I have purchased that were so large my feet actually walked out of the shoe and the two shoes fit different from each other. I wanted another pair of Mizuno which last forever and the Horizon being the ideal shoe for people with flat feet. If you have arches I wouldn't purchase these they really are meant for flat feet. It must be a production issue because I have read the same thing about the shoes not fitting properly. I'll try again next generation.
