I suffered through groin pain, knee pain, and even limped after running 5Ks in these shoes. At first I thought it was me: I'm older, wider, and less experienced in the matters of running. I thought I would give up running and just kept the shoes to work around the house. Then I noticed that I was getting the same pains even when not running. Returned these right away and got a pair of the HOKA Speed Goat 5. The difference was night and day. In fact, I was able to shave 6 minutes off of my 5K run! I have been a loyal New Balance customer for over three decades but unfortunately, this was not a great match for my feet. I hate to say it but... it's not me, it's you.
