These are well made boots with a great fit. Unfortunately they are too heavy and short for me for a lot of hiking.

A little shiny, but overall fit was great. Felt much more comfortable than others I've tried.

Good quality boots. My calves do swim in them though.

Hated to send these back. They are really comfortable and true to size, great soles. But they make a loud popping sound when you walk! :(. Might just be my shape, but sorry to see them go.

Ok, I read the reviews, but I wear an 11, there is no half size down for me and I didn't think a 10 would work. My feet are slipping and sliding all over the place and the boots are flopping as if I was a kid playing dress-up. I'm not a small woman and I can tuck my boot-cut pants into these boots and still have room left over. I need good rain boots though so I guess I will find an insole to stick into these and wear thick socks.

Agree with other reviewers that the foot bed was squishy and comfortable. Also, they do run large as I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 in boots. I ordered a 9 and although they fit, one side was rubbing on my ankle and I found them difficult to take off. Also, too shiny for me. Husband said they looked like "cop" boots. Returning, but I still love Zappos!

After reading the numerous reviews I thought these would work for my "muscular" calves!! To be fair they did come close but still to tight. Even ordered a half size up to accommodate (and for thick socks) - the foot wound up being too big and calves too small. What a pity!
