Living in Pittsburgh it is necessary to have rain boots. I decided to pit the Columbia Rainey (dark raspberry) against the Kamik Heidi (navy). These are my thoughts. The Columbia Rainey runs huge! I am a size 9 in every single shoe period and I never deviate. I had to go down to a size 8 in this boot. This is strange considering that I had literally just bought a size 9 in Columbia Ice Maiden II that fit normally. Pros: -higher shaft vs Kamik Heidi -cushioned insoles -looser around calf for those ladies with large calves, I have a little too much room. Plenty of room for jeans. -lovely color without looking “loud” -allows for a higher instep -fit and finish was perfect; no rough or uneven seams, plastic overhang, etc. Cons: -fingerprint magnet! You will need to take a dry cloth to this often to keep it looking “untouched”. -sizing is just way off -limited color options Neutral: -doesn’t have a high gloss finish I went with this shoe because the instep was a better fit, the soles were wonderfully cushioned and the finish of the boot was excellent. I moved to Florida from Arizona not too long ago... and I found myself needing some rain boots to deal with the excessive amount of rain we always seem to get here. I was torn between a couple of pairs, but settled on these. They didn't have a 9.5, so I ordered down and they fit perfectly. Bonus: they're super cute/classy! I keep them in the back of my car and wear them to walk into work on rainy days.

As many have said, 1) these are super comfortable! Have not found any boots that compared to the cushion in the footbed of these. 2) these run huge. I went down to a 7, and I wear 8's everyday and 9's in running shoes.

Love these boots. I have never had rain boots, at least not since I was in grade school. These are a beautiful color !! My grandson said, " Dammie, you LOVE purple" ! He is right. I do. These are somewhat heavy but made very well and quite comfortable.I have cycling calves and the boots are plenty big around the top. I have wool hiking socks and look forward to lots of rainy walks while maintaining warm dry feet. I now have 3 pair of Columbia boots....hiking, winter and now rain. I am set for all that comes my way.

So far so good with these great-looking boots. The fire engine red is a bright cheery addition to rainy days. I walk my dog 3-4 times a day and it's been a slushy muddy spring where I live, so I've been very happy to wade through the puddles in these boots. The proof will be in how well they hold up -- I had to toss out a pair from another brand that sprang a leak after one season, and these are the replacement pair. As of now, two thumbs up :)

FINALLY a rain boot in womans, not a funny color/design and true to size. I have searched over a year to find this.

Love these boots! I just wanted something that would keep my feet dry, comfortable, and fashionable. These fit the bill and were not completely over priced. The color is even better in person. I normally wear a size 10, so that is what I bought. I feel like they are a touch bigger, however with socks they seems fine. I feel if I did go down a size the width would be too narrow for my feet. I do like there is a lining that goes all the way to the top of the boot on the inside, which aids on no rubbing from the rubber on my bare skin. Since they are taller, they will probably be a little warm in the summer time but overall I am extremely happy with them. They seem very well made, however I have ad them for a few weeks. I would purchase these again.

I tried the Hunter Tall and the Colombia Rainey. The Rainey won hands down! MUCH more comfortable. The foot bed feels like some sort of memory gel? I can wear them all day long -- driving, shopping, walking outside. They are really cute and all my pants fit into them. The price is so much better than the Hunter (and they were much less comfortable!).

Live in the northern states where things can get pretty slushy during a thaw. Looking for rain boots to walk my dog, and thought these were cute and classic. I wear a 8.5, and tend to size up. Ordered an 8 and a 9 based on another review. Was very surprised that the 8 fit better. With bunions, I often need extra room. Tried with double (wool) socks, and they fit too. My 16 year-old thinks they are stylish, and wants to wear them to school.

Replacing Bogs and very pleased!

I usually wear 9 to 91/2 in shoes depending on the company. I went with the 9 1/2, I’m glad I did they fit perfect and they feel comfortable on my feet.

I usually wear a 9.5 wide and found these to be a perfect fit. These are super comfy and they are amazingly soft and squishy. My only complaint is that I ordered them in the teal and now when I came back to pick them up in the black they're not available! Hoping and praying they'll be restocked soon!

They are very cute! Only problem is, at least with the pink, they show dirt...there were fingerprints and marks all over mine. Comfortable and not too heavy.

The boots are comfortable to walk in, easy to slip on, and do the job. I bought the Dark Raspberry color - it’s a very purple color, which I like. The tread on the sole is sturdy. Highly recommend these rain boots.
