I am really impressed with these. I've bought Toms for my kids for a while now, but could never find a pair I liked for myself. I felt like the original style made my feet look oddly long/misshapen, they were narrow, and they lacked support. These are totally different. The width is great, as is the cushioning on the foot bed. They look classic and go with almost everything. The only thing I could come up with that is mildly critical is that the canvas area at the back of the heal is a bit stiff (I am wearing them without socks)-I would have loved a touch of padding maybe...not enough of a problem to return them but I may look for that feature next time I buy this type of shoe. As a reference I wear an 11, sometimes an 11 wide C/D, and purchased these in an 11.

I love these. I can't wear the Tom's Classics because they don't offer enough support. The thicker sole on these is great, as is the removable insole. I can put in my own insole or orthotic with plenty of room. I think these may also be a bit wider than the classics, which is great for me. Super comfy and cute.

My normal size is 9, which I ordered first. They were too wide and sliding off on my heal already. I ordered a 1/2 size down and they're perfect. Excited to walk around Europe in these!

I love these shoes! You get a combination of looks, you get a sporty shoe that looks sharp and you get an espadrille slip on feel. Also, the support is awesome, great cushion for my feet! Love, will wear all summer with everything!

Love these shoes! They are super comfortable and have great support. I think that they run a little wide though, I normally wear a 7 and it was really wide on my foot. I ended up getting a 6.5 and they fit well!

Extremely painful heals. Tried to break them in - did not improve. Heal is very stiff, abrasive and unyielding.

Why would Tom's use thin blue fabric on the walking surface / sole of a shoe? I've worn them 7-8 times and the fabric is already torn up and looks bad from the bottom. They are also a bit slippery on smooth surfaces, but maybe that will resolve itself once all of the fabric is worn off? Otherwise, the fit and comfort are pretty good.

I needed a black shoe for work and I wanted it to be Toms. Since I have flat feet, I had to go with sneaker instead of the regular flat Toms. It is perfect for work in the Spring. Fits nicely I went down a half size at the recommendation of a co-worker and it fits much better than my actual size. I had to wear them a few times with socks to stretch them out. However since they are a half size down they are not slipping off like the size i am were

Simple slip on with foam support—the shoe has a clean look and is cute-casual!

I ordered my normal size in Tom’s shoes and felt like they were slightly small. As one other reviewer mentioned, it might be due to the rounded toe. Overall, I really liked the shoe and they were comfortable. I am still debating on ordering 1/2 size up or trying a similar style with the regular square Toms toe.

I love these little sneakers. I just bought a back-up pair. They are my go-to for traveling and running to errands.

Soooo comfortable! My first pair of slip-on casual shoes and I'm very happy with these. Even walking forever in NYC. I find these just as comfortable as my running shoes but much cuter and more stylish. Also cute with casual dresses. I wear a 7 1/2 and got the size 7 and they were a perfect fit.

A great casual sneaker! I have always wanted a pair of Toms, but the other styles were always too narrow. I have wide feet and these fit perfectly. They are very cute and sporty. I wear them with jeans and shorts all summer long.

I have 3 pairs of these, second year to buy them. They are comfy for my commuting lifestyle and look cute with a dress or skirt, I hate the sneakers with dress look, so these work. I have the black, I am on my second pair and the blue/silver pair. OBSESSED.

LOVE these shoes. The have the adorable simplicity of the classic Toms shoes, but with a more sturdy and supportive sole. The slightly metallic finish makes them cute and fun without being over the top. These will look great with shorts, rolled-up jeans, or even summer dresses. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5 and I got these in a 7.5. They fit great, even with a thin little sock/liner. Very happy with this purchase!

I love the classic TOMS shoe but they wear out too quickly for the price. I think the Avalon sneaker is going to hold up much longer. And they're ridiculously comfortable!

These are so comfortable and super cute. They are more durable than the original Toms. I bought a size 8 (my size in original Toms) and they fit perfectly. They stretch out a little when you start wearing them.

I ordered the 7.5, I am between 7.5 and 8 depending on the shoe. These were a bit small, so I ordered the 8 and they are perfect. The toe area was too snug, but the 8 fits perfectly. These are super comfortable out of the box and very stylish. I bought them for a trip but I can't wait to wear them to work, too, on those "business casual" days. The bonus is Tom's mission to give free shoes to the needy, that makes me feel great.

These shoes are really comfortable - they feel like you're walking on clouds. My only complaint is that after wearing a few times they became odorous and I've never had this issue before. Otherwise I'd recommend! They run TTS, but a bit wide.

Disappointed that thin layer on bottom of shoe shredded after first day of walking. Doesn’t impact function but I leave an embarrassing trail of fuzz. Haven’t had this problem after months of heavy use of other Toms. This model/fabric is slightly stiffer than other Toms.

Love these shoes! Way more support than the regular alpargatas. The only bummer is that literally after two hours of wearing them - the coating on one of the soles started peeling off. Kind of disappointed after paying $60 for them.

I love these shoes but the sizes are unpredictable. I have a size 7 1/2 pair that fit perfectly, but when I ordered in another color, the 7 1/2 and an 8 were both too short. Returning once again.

I think another reviewer had this same comment...the back of the shoe comes up higher on my heal than the Alpargata Cupsole. The footbed was also a little narrower, and the shoe as a whole was more stiff, providing a little more support. I think for some, this shoe will be great. For me, it is not.

This style of this shoe is really cute but the fabric was very scratchy and uncomfortable on the inside and I intended to wear them without socks. Unfortunately I had to send them back.
