I love these boots. They're soft, warm, and very comfortable. They run about 1/2 to a 1 size large and are on the wide side, so order down. I'm normally a 7 and the 6 1/2 fit perfectly, with enough room for thick socks.

Zappos is great! They shipped the package a little early, in a sturdy box with a return label inside if needed. That's the way to ship customer friendly! Also I love the boots I got. They are very roomy and your foot can spread but also run large. I only got a half size smaller and they are perfect!

I love these boots. I like that they are much more durable than most combat-style boots on the market. They do run pretty big though. I'm usually a 6.5-7, so I originally ordered a 6.5. They felt way too big so I returned them. (Zappos sent me a 6 just 2 days after I sent my other ones back. Super fast!) The 6 is a lot better. They aren't soft inside like I thought the might be, but I like that. They're very warm, but I wouldn't wear them as a winter boot. (I live in Michigan) Hopefully these will last awhile, because I tend to wear out the inside part of the soles because I pronate. I definitely recommend these boots. Make sure to go a full size smaller!

I wear a size 8 shoe. I usually order leather boots in a 7.5 so I can stretch them out. I had to buy this in a 6.5 and it's still big... other than that, the boot is amazing.

I'm really liking these boots. They do run a big bigger than my usual (7, or 7.5) size..after reading the reviews - that were all over the place, I decided to order the two sizes available at the time (6.5 and 7.5), the 6.5 fit with room for thick socks if needed. I'm returning the 7.5's. Thanks Zappos for making the process super easy.

These boots were very cute and even fit my usually wide feet. Unfortunately, they did not accommodate my high arches. I was sad to have to return them!

I love these boots! They fit perfectly, are comfortable from the first time on my foot, are warm, have great soles, and look fabulous! I'm so glad I got them!

I was a little worried because I loved the look of these boots that I ordered a pair before reading the one review that said they ran about a half-size too large that I was going to have to return them. I picked these out because they were the only combat-style boots that I could find without a zipper (I'm sorry, manufacturers -- it just doesn't seem right for this style of boot to have zippers!). I love them. They look more awesome in person than they do in the pictures (and I think the pictures are pretty great!) and felt true-to-size on my size 7 B feet. Just what I was looking for. I haven't worn them for a full day -- so far, just around the house to make sure they're perfect, but so far, so good.

Out of the box I loved these boots. Good looking and the heel isn't too tall. Typically, I don't wear anything with a heel. I think they run a half size large. I ordered an 8.5 but think an 8 would have fit perfectly, so I returned them. They are a little tall for skinny jeans unless you wear the boots overs the jeans.

I love the look of these boots, but they are a lot of work! Lots of laces and no side zipper! It only took loosening the laces for one boot to realize I would never have time in the morning to lace these boots while racing out the door to work & my child's daycare (before having a kid I might have spent the time putting on the boots, but not now). Otherwise, the boots look very well made and durable.

These are excellent boots. I agree with others here that the color is not that which is shown in the photograph, but still a pleasant color. The boots were larger than expected, but they are quite comfortable and have tread unlike many other boots. I still haven't quite gotten one of them broken in because the heel rubs a bit, but I'm sure in another week or two they will be perfect

I was a little disappointed that the grey suede looks nothing as pictured. Its more greenish/grey and much darker. I have no problem capturing the color of the shoe...so its a little misleading. It says elephant on the box not grey suede. Overall still a cute boot so I'm keeping them. Just would of really loved the if they were as pictured.

These are very cute, but they are more grey, and they are HUGE.

Not super thrilled with them, wore them one day and the top of my foot hurt. More for work not comfort.

In love with these shoes! I am usually a 6.5-7 and I ordered a 6.5. They fit perfectly. Don't be thrown off when you first put them on and they may seem uncomfortable and/or hard to put on. They break in within a few days. They are so stylish and a great sturdy pair of boots. Love them.

These are super cute, but tight at the top. I could barely get my foot in, and I have a normal medium width foot. I had to completely undo the laces to get my foot in. Ended up returning them.

I love the look of these. I wear a size 10 usually. My feet are on the narrower side. I have small ankles and small calves. I had high hopes for these because they're lace-up so I thought I'd be able to make em snug enough. I ordered a 10M. The length was good but these boots were way too wide for me, even with my orthotics. There was also too much empty space over the top of my foot. Gonna keep looking. Thank you Zappos for the great customer service!

Very nice boot, but difficult to get on, the shaft is too small

A really well-constructed boot in exactly the style I wanted. Trouble was I couldn't get it on my foot. I've gotten used to zippers that aid in easy access. Sorry that I had to return it.

Firstly, this is a winter boot. I bought them for casual wear but they are really warm. Not a con, just something to take into account. The main issue I had with them was that they were extremely difficult to put on. I'm sure the leather will stretch and soften eventually but considering I wanted a less-warm boot, I didn't want to try them out.

Impossible to unlace these enough to actually get them on. There's a double layer of lace holes at the the top and the laces wouldn't come out of the un-grommeted hole. Leather was nice, but the extra thick knit stuff at the top and the complicated lacing make these way too unwieldy for easy, day to day use.

Disappointed by the lack of accuracy in color - on the photo they look more yellowish/khaki while in reality the color is very dark, almost greenish, grey. I marked them as larger and wider than the true size, but if you intend to wear them with thick socks or place aftermarket insoles, order your regular size and they should fit just fine.

I really wanted to like these boots, because they are similar to my beloved boots that have deteriorated. Unfortunately, they are going back! They are extremely cumbersome to put on and to remove. I need to loosen the laces really wide to put them on and then tie the laces back again. I wished they come in eyelet/hooks on the shaft part. Also, they should have pull tabs.

These are very stiff, with a hard toe area. So, would be good for work environment. However, they are too tight around the calf area to be comfortable.

These were huge. Also, do not contain much insulation.
