My husband needed some nice shoes for the office but also needed to be comfortable for walking around (all the eateries are within walking distance from the downtown offices, so lots of lunchtime strolls). A very nice looking shoe and soft leather. He reports that it is really comfortable and likes the shoe. We have since purchased a "fancier" Rockport design to attend a formal event but were lucky to find one that was still nice for the office. It looks like Rockport will be our new "go to" brand for the hubby's office shoes =)

Bought these at the recommendation of my daughter's partner. Glad I did. After having to send back 2 pairs of another brand's shoes to Zappos because of poor fit, these were great right out of the box. Only gripe I have is that the shoe laces are rather slick and require a double knot to stay put all day. Other than that, great buy!

These were ordered for for my 15 yo son to wear daily for school. (dress shoes required) He says they are pretty comfortable for dress shoes, and for all-day wear. They also seem to be pretty durable. It's been almost 4 months and they still look really good. I was a little concerned about paying over $100 for daily-use school shoes for a teenage boy, but these seem to be up to the challenge. (he has wide feet, so there is no bargain shopping for his shoes) The only problem we have had is that the shoe laces seem to be inferior. They both broke within a month, so I had to go looking for replacements. I'm pleased with this purchase, but it seems like the shoe lace quality should match the shoe quality.

My husband wears 4E shoes and has a really hard time find shoes that will fit his custom insoles. These are the first pair of shoes that do! I'm impressed by the style and fit! Big thanks to all the honest reviews on these shoes too! The only thing we have to buy are longer laces because as a 4E, the laces are too short to tie up.

Very nice shoe! Very comfortable! Not as bulky as ECCO's and looks dressy for a soft sole shoe. Has the feel and support of a running shoe but classic style for the office.

Rockport has been a good to company for me and that didn't change with these. Have only worn them a few times but they have the comfort and support I require. Great shoes.

I purchased these because I have always enjoyed the Rockport quality and comfort. I wear orthotics to prevent over pronation. This has a removable foam footbed, but I found I could put my orthotics right on top of them. They are not the dressiest black oxfords I have owned, but they look great, go well with my slacks and have a good molded rubber outer sole that will keep you on your feet in snow and ice.

I bought a pair of these for an upcoming trip. I wanted something comfortable for walking but with at least a modicum of style. These are both... right out of the box. As others have noted, the shoelaces won't stay tied... buy new ones.

Due to some recent foot surgery, my feet have altered in size. Once a 10½W, to an 11W now to this recent 11½W. I wasted some money buying 11W. These shoes fit well but I am still out on the durability, scuffing that I am seeing on the outside after just a handful of times wearing. This is office wear, no factory or outside work other than walking outside.

Comfortable out of the box. Nice professional look. I like the wide options.

My husband wears Rockport shoes almost exclusively. He particularly likes the new Hydro-Shield waterproof styles. He wears size 9.5 Wide which is not easy to find but after checking out the styles and colors locally, I was able to order just what he wanted through ZAPPOS! Great service.

My husband has the most difficult feet to fit into a pair of shoes: high arch, extra wide and the left foot is wider than the right foot. He was surprised how comfortable they feel without any inserts. He is a 10 1/2 in athletic shoes (NB), this ones are 1/2 a size larger. He is very happy, that is a lot to say.

This shoe is as advertised. Lightweight all day comfort out of the box whether sitting behind a desk, driving, or walking around a jobsite. Attractive enough to wear to the club after work for a drink. Seems to pair best with khakis. This is not a true dress shoe, but is perfect for less formal job environments while being attractive enough to conciliate the "blue-bloods." Money well spent.

Great shoe. Nice gloss finish, sturdy construction, and comfortable insoles. The heel is a bit higher than what I've had in past but has not been a problem. While the strings that come with it do come loose easily, I found that if you just pull strings more snug than usual while tying, it never comes undone. Very happy with the purchase.
