I love these boots! I have thin calfs and long narrow feet. These boots fit me so well and are quite comfortable. Because I have high arches, I did add an arch support pad.

These are tight on the calf but somewhat adjustable in the back. The material feels very light and thin but they are comfortable. I am very happy to have nice, stylish, comfortable boots made of cruelty free materials.

These boots just arrived. Many thanks to the other reviewers that mentioned they run a bit small. I usually wear 8.5-9 and ordered size 40/9.5. They seem to fit fantastic! They are very comfortable right out of the box and I look forward to walking around everywhere and showing them off! I was searching for the "perfect" boot for about two years. I wanted comfort, cruelty free and stylish. Many synthetic fabrics look and feel horrible and cheap. Lots of synthetics are also stiff, smelly and make noise when you walk. These Arcopedico boots really fit what I was looking for. They are pricey but the material is very high quality and look like they will last. Yay boots! Bring on the fall! :)

Finally! A vegan boot that fits small calves! And it's comfortable too! I didn't think I'd ever find such a thing. Until now, it's been impossible to find a tall boot that isn't big and baggy around my legs. I ordered a second pair of Arcopedicos and they are also perfect for my narrow calves. The length runs small - normally I'm a 7.5-8 so I tried the 38 in this first, and it was short. I went with the 39, which is listed as 8.5 to 9, but that fits perfectly. No complaints.

A superb, and vegan, choice! I have worn mine hard for 2+ years now and they're going strong. They are calf huggers. Someone with larger than average calves might find them less comfortable, but I am fine with them. They are VERY comfortable and stylish. I get a compliment of them at least once a week:).

These are the most ergonomic shoes I've ever worn. Each of my feet has been broken but I can be on my feet all day in these. This is why I'm so enthusiastic. I wasn't paid, I just got back my ability to walk in cute shoes. They do run small, but it's not a problem if you account for that and order a larger size. I exchanged mine for a full size bigger than usual and the bigger ones fit perfectly. These boots have enough stretch to them that nothing rubs. They feel perfectly broken in from day one. If the footbed doesn't fit you as well as it does me, you can take it out and a custom orthotic would fit. If your calves bloat (on an airplane flight for example) you can expand the boots with the laces. If you have thick or thin legs these can probably fit you anyway because of the laces. They have arch support, shock absorption, and traction. Yet they look good, even with a dress. I get compliments almost every time I wear them. This after a year of almost daily wear. They are indeed made of lightweight fabric, but this is a feature, not a bug. They are not fragile, just lightweight and breathable. The buyer who said they look flimsy just doesn't understand materials science: A material does not have to be heavy and blister-inducing to be strong. They are not waterproof in the sense of keeping your feet dry, but they are not damaged by water either (they are washable) and if your feet get wet they will dry out pretty quickly. They wouldn't be great as winter boots in an area with a lot of precipitation, and you wouldn't want to do construction work in them, but otherwise they are magically delicious. Add to this the facts that they are vegan and made in Europe, not China.

These boots are stylish, funky, and extremely comfortable. They are so soft, you almost think you do not have anything in your feet. They run a little small, I usually wear a 9 in a boot, I ordered 9.5, per other reviewers' advice, and they fit perfectly. They are a little narrow around the calves, but the laces are there to your rescue. I am very pleased with my purchase. I am a little concerned with rain, and what it will do to the material, and with stains, how do you get rid of them? Meanwhile I cannot wait to wear them this week, and next week, and next year.

It is wonderful to find form fitting black boots for my relatively skinny legs (often the boot is too wide for my calf). These are very comfortable right out of the box. The material is not real leather, and it is very soft, meaning it kind of slouches around the ankle a little bit. The style is interesting. They feel a little like dressing up in a super hero costume.

I do like these boots, though they felt different than I expected. The boot shaft is extremely flexible but also quite tight. I have relatively small calves (I thought) and they barely fit in the boot, even after some adjusting. That said, the boots are nice once they’re on! They’re comfortable with grippy, flexible soles and a small wedge heel. The lace up the back of the boot is almost too short, but probably an easy fix. Having walked in the rain a few times, I did not feel like my feet were wet, unless you step in a deep puddle, then water can seep through the zipper.

I love the style of these boots, comfort and they are vegan. Which is hard to find in comfortable rubber soled boots. I found the foot bed to be a bit awkward. They feel like ballet flats with a weird high arch support. The front of the foot feels a bit flat, it needs a slight cushion at the toe-box. The pleather material on top of the foot is also quite tight. Feels like I'm stretching out the seems. You'd wear these with thin sock or nylons. For the price they could have added a thicker layer of pleather and its too bad they aren't water/weather proof. The calves portion is smaller which I like since most of the boots I find have calves that are too wide. It will not work with those with wider calves. Overall fitting is a bit snugger/narrower than expected, weird insole, not worth $200, and its a cute vegan boot.

The fit is a little snug, so I went up a size. As is, they are definitely for small calves, but just let out the lacing a bit and they should be OK for "normal" calves. Love the style abd comfort.

I really like this boot - very comfortable and lighter than ANY other pair of boots - or even shoes - that I own. But, as many reviewers have noted, the calves are VERY small. I like that - I have small calves and boots usually look ridiculous on me as a result. These boots BARELY zip on my thin calves. There is the option to loosen them a bit with the back laces, so you can get another half inch or so that way. The material is nice but very thin. The style is nice - and if you are ok with a rounded toe, these might work for you. VERY comfortable. You can forget you are wearing them. You can definitely feel the arch support.

Super comfortable and adjustable leg shaft good for folks with narrow calves - I'm 5'8 140 lbs and these are super sleek and comfy - wish the had a little more heel - very flexible and worth the money. I wear a 10.5 -11 and these are more like a 10-10.5 but stretch nicely so I'm keeping .

I really like these boots. All of my shoes are either 6.5 or 7 depending on the brand. I ordered the 6.5 first time and had to return them; WAY too small. The 7's fit perfectly. As for the shaft circumference, I will say this. I have been fortunately blessed with shapley, THIN calves. With that said, these boots JUST barely zip up all the way. Once they've been on for a bit, they seem to stretch a tiny bit which is good. If you do not have stick legs or very thin calves, I wouldn't recommend these boots. You will have to send them back. Also, if you have flat feet or extremely low arches, these might feel uncomfortable in the arch area.

Loved these boots and so wanted them to work but I am a petite person but I do work out and I could not even zip them 1/2 way up my calves....if you do not have stick thin legs these will NOT work. But if you do they are amazing!

I didn't realize these boots were plastic and unfortunately it is why I am returning them. They look like leather, fit like a glove, are adjustable in the back for your calves to a point, and are a great style but they will not last. I can tell already they are going to fall apart with regular wear, and the idea of wearing these for long periods of time is suffocating. Plastic doesn't breath.

These are super cute boots. Better yet, they are vegan! Sadly, they are very narrow in the calf area, so I have to return them. My calves are quite muscular, but I've never had an issue with other boots, and I've never ordered a wide calf before. These were so narrow that I could not get the zipper even halfway up my calf. Even if they would have zipped, there would be no extra room for tights, leggings, or skinny jeans. If it is helpful, I'm 5'4", 130 lbs, wear size 2-4 pants, and size 9.5-10 shoe. (I ordered these in 41.)

I bought these boots believe it not at a thrift store and complained about spending bucks and they were brand new but I bought them anyway and I have never been happier with a pair of shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They don't rub they fit your foot like it was made for it. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. I love the fact that they art super light, they weigh about a half a pound a piece so at the end of the day my legs aren't tired and my feet don't hurt. I would recommend these boots to anyone.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love these boots. Other reviews said they ran small, so I ordered the next size up, but had to send them back for a size smaller. So, they actually run true to size, in my experience. I've been scouring stores and the internet looking for boots that actually fit my narrow calves. I scored with these! I bought these for work, as I'm on my feet for 8-9 hours at a time. These boots are so comfortable. They are soft and have good arch support, so I don't have to put my insoles in them. I think they are a little over priced, as I don't know how sturdy they are, or if they will last a long time, but they are comfortable and quite stylish. So glad I found them!

I like the way these boots look and feel. I've never tried vegan shoes before, but these make me more willing to take the risk. Unfortunately, for these boots, I was concerned about the sole - the part under the front of my foot felt very thin, while the rest was very cushioned. The overall effect was pretty odd and something that I thought I wouldn't find comfortable. Like others, I found the boot itself to be very narrow. I was able to loosen the laces enough to make it comfortable, but they wouldn't have worked with anything other than skirts for me (and I don't have especially big calves).

I love these boots! If you have small calves and need good arch support in a stylish boot, these are for you. I'm not crazy about the tie detail in the back, but its not as pronounced as I thought it might be. Runs a little bit tight. I usually wear a 41 and got the boot in that size, but won't be able to wear thick socks with the 41.

These shoes feel like slippers! While they provide flexibility for calf width, it is not enough for a biking calves. Also, the boots are so lightweight that they feel cheap. I will not have the opportunity to know how durable they are because they just do not fit.

Fabulous material but truly insane design. The leg area is so narrow it is not possible to put them on without unlacing the back.

I don't have large calves, yet these boots were sooooo narrow in the calves that I couldn't even get it zipped up... Also unfortunately seemed more narrow in the foot area as well compared to the shorter boots. I have two shorter boots and they are so comfortable. I was looking forward to getting a higher boot. I don't understand why they are made so narrow. If the tall boots were made a bit wider then I'm sure I would love them.
