The fit runs on the larger size. I’m a medium (7 1/8) and it is slightly larger than that, so if you are in the smaller of the SM/MD range, you’ll have a lot of room. The hat feels well-made, it doesn’t feel cheap in any way. I originally bought this to be my Summer Cap, but it feels a bit heavier than that. Spring/Fall would likely be perfect, or a breezy Summer day. I would be remiss if I didn’t say I REALLY like the design. It’s a fun spin on a classic look.

The small/medium runs a bit on the large size, but not uncomfortably so. If you have a lot of hair, you probably won't notice it, but if you rock a bald hairstyle, you'll definitely notice the extra room. I personally love the tropical print, I just wish the hat had used lighter materials. This feels more like a Spring hat than a Summer one.
