The insole and heel are very comfortable; I'm a true 8.5 M and it fit exactly. I will say that the ankle part hit me a tiny bit higher than similar other shoes, and I have chubby enough ankles that I had to unzip the very top by the end of the day (feet swollen), but I doubt this will be a problem for most people. I bought the silver color and I think it looks very cool, with skirts or pants. As a teacher, I'm on my feet all day and they felt good.

Whoa! I really love these booties. I’m a pretty standard size 8, and the fit was perfect. I recommend a half size up if you plan to wear these with a mid-weight or heavier sock. There’s a saying: “if the shoe fits, buy it in every color”, so I just ordered the pewter version of this shoe.

I was surprised by the cow hide on the heel. It’s grown on me and the shoes are extremely comfortable, but the description should call out that there’s cow fur on the heel. They’re cute though.

These shoes are a great style but I found the leather rather stiff. I also had a problem getting my foot into one of the shoes as I have high arches. I did not bother trying the other shoe as the stiff leather and awkwardness in getting them on would never do. These may be fine for a person with normal arches.
