I had been searching for a puffy jacket that wasn't too puffy, and this one is perfect! It is both stylish and comfortable, for casual wear or athletic. I don't think it would work well for colder weather, but it is great for breezy days (I live in San Diego). I am 5'3" and 115lbs. I originally ordered a small, which I felt was too small unless you like a fitted fit. I exchanged for a medium, which is comfortable and roomy enough for layers. Love this purchase!

This ran small in the chest and shoulders. I’m always a size small or sometimes an xs, but in this I will have to try a medium. Im concerned that the arms will be too big and long for me with a medium. This seems to be a common issue that comes up in reviews for north face and Patagonia jackets.

Finally, finally! I found a North face jacket that is close to perfect. It fits me right, and it's the right length for me. I have been buying North face coats and been returning them because they just don't fit me right. I am normally an SX or Small, but XS on Northface is too tight on me and Small is too loose on the shoulder area which makes me look boxy This jacket is great. Not too heavy but warm enough for crisp weather. Although, I don't think it is warm enough when the weather is in the teens and 20s. But should be okay for upper 30s to 50s as long as it's not windy. Although, I haven't tried it when it is windy outside but I don't think it has enough insulation for it. For reference, I'm 5 ft and 100 lbs. You wouldn't think I would have an awful time to find coats from North face on my size but I have. I love the brand so much that I didn't give up until I found the one. In fact, I went back online to get another one on a different color, but dang, the color I was wanting is sold out.

I am partial to NF so I am a bit biased. That said, I think NF runs small so I ordered larger than I normally wear so that I could fit a sweater without it getting too tight across the shoulders. The color is actually running way more toward blue, a steely blue, but not what I would consider grey. The downside to this jacket is that it is very, very lightweight. This would be a nice coat for mid-autumn or spring, but winter? No.

Not your typical puffy jacket. Fashion forward. Not a straight cut across the bottom so is flattering for bigger hips as it provides a nice shape. The collar is also a nice upright length.

I was traveling to Colorado for a small Winter Break. I was in need for a lightweight coat, to use for extreme cold weather. Let me add, I'm from Georgia. Needless to say, THIS COAT WAS PERFECT! I was warm the entire time! Will definitely purchase in other colors!

Bought this jacket for Patagonia! Loves it very warm but was light weight and easily compressible so it fit well in my backpack.

I really like this jacket. It's sharp looking. I felt more "dressed" in it than other coats I own. I like that it is lightweight, but it may be too lightweight for northern climates. I live in central Florida and it worked well on a windy, 57-degree day.. I'm 5'4" and 120 pounds and I ordered the Medium and it fits perfectly.

It's winter like conditions most of the year where I live. I plan on using the Bombay jacket for the cold outdoor fun.

I got this jacket during the winter sale for a great price and what an amazing find! I got the blue color in a size S and it fits perfectly. The zippers are smooth and zip up fine and the jacket doesn't feel too hot when I wear it. It keeps me warm and the arm length/tightness fits just right for layering while also still being fitted. I am 5"4 and 120 lbs and usually wear an XS in shirts.

Love this jacket! I purchased it specifically for a hiking trip in May, but have already found myself reaching for it almost daily. Sizing runs very small, though - I'm usually a size Small, but ordered a Medium and it is still a bit snug in the shoulders. Would definitely recommend sizing up.

I love that is not too heavy, Minnesota has such weird ups and downs in temperature that it is nice to have a lighter jacket!

I just received this jacket yesterday and I am in love! I purchased the grey jacket. I am normally a size small, but after reading reviews I decided to size up to medium. I am very glad I did! It does not look too big and I can wear a sweater under it. I'm sad they have ran out of the other colors.

I've been looking for a good lightweight coat and stumbled across this one! I've always used The North Face for my "good" coats and jackets because they hold up and are made to last. Love it!
