In response to all of the reviews from people who bought these as a pair of everyday shoes: Listen. These are skate shoes. They are meant to be narrow, for actual performance reasons. Do you buy a pair of ski boots and walk around all day thinking about how comfortable they were during your stroll down the boardwalk? They are well made, and do exactly what they are meant to; keep your foot in place. These are not meant to be walking shoes.

I thought these shoes looked great in the pics online. Finally cool looking shoes that were offered in wide. Wrong. I purchased them in wide. I even read other reviews saying they were too narrow. I still bought them. They are all correct. Way too narrow. Even in the wide size. If you need wide shoes, I do not recommend these.

Great shoes out of the box, but the 2E was still too norrow for me. Wish they came in a 3E?

I was dissappointed with the width being narrower than expected. I've had good luck with New Balance shoes in the past, but this pair doesn't seem to follow the same sizing standards. Had to return.

There appears to be some confusion about the fit of these shoes. These are a true athletic skate shoe, which means they are meant to fit tight on the width, where the laces provide support to your foot. They are not going to feel like a daily wide sneaker. These should fit somewhere between a regular sneaker and climbing shoes.

The fit is excellent. They are snug but not loose. I've seen some bad reviews of these shoes but I've been skating since the 80s and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned in general. I'll definitely get another pair when these are worn down. The sole is like walking on a memory foam they are stupid comfy. They are a little different to get used to when it comes to riding a board but after a day or so I've adjusted my footing. All in all, I would say 10 out of 10.

I really like these shoes. I feel like new balances always run narrow. I was really happy they had a 2E width. It fit me like a medium width in any other brand. If you actually have wide feet, these might not work.

Day 1 - I have a narrow foot and these feel tight, so the other reviews are correct. If you're buying this shoe for that New Balance known width, might want to buy as wide as you can or look into a different model. I know this is a skate shoe and it is built-up. It's comfortable, but a bit stiff. I'm expecting it to break in nicely though. Love the look. Very clean design. Thanks!

I wear regular. I bought double wide and my toe still rubbed. Not cool NB..

I was excited to see that a skate shoe had a wide size. Sadly after buying the 2E version of the shoe, it sadly was so thin that I could barely get my foot into it. Really is a shame because I loved the style, but doesn't work for wide feet.

I really wanted to like this shoe the style is good. However the material feels synthetic and i am worried my feet wont be able to breath in these shoes. Also I ordered the EE width and I have wide feet. As other reviewers state these are very narrow shoes. I would not order these again.

These shoes were supposed to be "wide". They were actually narrower than most Nike medium. Also short.

The color faded in a few months, such a shame because they were beautiful and not cheap, now they look like 4 years old shoes.

Really good looking shoe but that is about it. Probably the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever bought. Super stiff even months later wearing everyday. Very narrow and has a weird bump in the shoe right in front of the arch where it should be a dip. Would love to return if possible. Not happy.
