I ordered these boots for my almost 8 year old daughter who wears a 1 in shoes. I bought a size 2 for her.. Since reviewers said they run small. However, I found them to be quite large on her. She has narrow feet and is quite thin. I would suggest buying your child’s normal size if he or she has a narrow feet. I m going to keep them, because they will fit next year. So narrow feet.. probably order your normal size.

I had to size up in these for my 5 year old. She measures a 10.5 and complained that the 11 felt too tight. the 12 fit perfectly. She wears a 10.5 sneaker and 10 rainboot. These are are 4th pair of Kamik snow boots (albeit a different style all together) and the first time we've had to jump 3 sizes and not 2 each year.

We ordered a size 3 in Kamik Snow Gypsy - which felt too big for my daughter that wears a size 2. There wasn't a smaller size in that style, so ordered a 2 for the Powdery 2. They look great, but the fit was too tight. The insert makes it less flexible and my daughter didn't like that the inside wasn't as 'cozy' as the Snow Gypsy. We ended up keeping the Snow Gypsy - knowing she'll grow into them over the winter. If you want the Powdery 2, plan to order at least a size up. If your child is a half size - you may need to go up two sizes.

I bought these for my daughter. She wears a size four kids in converse shoes, but was unable to even get her foot into these.

These are adorable! My daughter wore the Kamik Rocket boot for many years and wanted something different. These have a great rubber sole with good traction and they could withstand a few inches of slush. They cinch closed too, which should keep snow out. We returned them because the fur is substantial, and felt bulky under snow pants.

Fit perfect !my daughter has wide feet, thought they'd be tight to get in cause it looked narrow but she slid in perfect!!! She loved them and jumped around in them with no complaints !

We haven't tried these in the snow yet... but they seem to be nice and warm. Like that they have a removable liner - so if it gets wet - it can be taken out to dry. They do seem to run a little small (or maybe my daughter's feet were bigger than I thought!). Can't wait to try them in the snow.

I purchased size 11 for my 3 yo and she says they fit and they are comfortable.

The wool liner seemed stiff and not very comfortable. My daughter said, “these don’t feel quite right.”

I LOVE kamik. We live in Buffalo and I have bought only this brand of boots for my kids for years. They keep their feet warm and dry and I love the liner that comes out that can be put on the heater to fully dry if either sweaty or wet from snow getting in the top when they play crazy. My 10 yr old girl is very fussy about shoes. She mostly wears sneakers only. We tried these to be more fashionable, but she fussed her heal slipped out, and the way they lace we could not get her heal locked in. We are going back to the basic style with the velcro for her thin ankles.

These run a whole size too small so I would recommend sizing up. Other than that, my daughter loves these and thinks they are cute. I have a purple pair for my other daughter and she agrees that they are warm and comfy!

While these were super cute and comfy, we’re returning because my 4yo had a tough time getting them on by herself. We are exchanging for a pair that has a side zipper too that makes slipping her foot in a bit easier.

These boots are not warm, and get wet easily (only the rubber around the foot is waterproof, so any wetness over 2 inches deep gets into the boot). Once they get wet, insert takes days to dry. Not cutting it for my daughter in Buffalo, NY winter!

I ordered these for both of my girls (9 and 14 yrs old), and both girls said that they felt tight, and way too stiff. When they were trying them on, they clomped around like they were in ski boots. No ankle movement at all. There is no way that they could walk to school in them or wear them all day at school so we returned them.

They were hard to get on. The insulation was very uneven and uncomfortable. Cute boots just not able to wear.

My daughter has never complained about the width of a shoe or boot before and she had to take these off immediately. Said the sides were so uncomfortable. I had even ordered the larger size. Unfortunately, we have to return.

Daughter hated these, way too tight and hard to get in. Love Kamik, bought the other kind with the Velcro’s strap. Can’t go wrong!
