Ordered a M for my average build 10 year old and returned for a L as the fit is snug and wanted him to be able to wear it for longer then a season. His favorite part were the sleeves that come over the hands and as this is worn all day, not just when exercising (because he is 10), the black color helps to hide the dirt. A favorite shirt for a sporty dri-fit loving kid for sure.
