We’ve always been Nike buyers, but finding shoes for my 5-year old was not easy this time around. His current size is 13, but his toes were pushing the ends, so I wanted to get him a new pair for the summer. Finding 13.5 is impossible in stores, so I moved up to Youth 1. They were HUGE. So I went back to hunting online. I should have started my hunt on Zappos anyway, because there were quite a few options in that size. Got the 13.5, and although they do seem a tiny bit big, I’m sure the extra room won’t be a problem.

Amazing shoe for 9 year old

My son loves these shoes -- he thinks they have magic powers to make him run faster. I like them too, I just wish they lasted a bit longer and had a more supportive insole (but very few shoes have good insoles).

very comfortable and sporty sneaker

Seemed to run a little small. Normally my son wears a 2 but needed a 2.5 in these. He loves them though and raves about how comfortable they are. He also loves that they’re red, his favorite color and it is a very pretty shade of red.

These worked, but we had to size up for my son that can typically wear a 12. This style must run slightly smaller

I bought these in the usual size my son wears in shoes. He said they're too big and had heel slippage. They didn't fare well on our running test. However, I'm keeping them because he will probably grow into them.

We always buy Nike shoes for our kids. They are lightweight, easy to get on and off, and seem to fit true to size - this pair is no exception. I do think the newer material wears out faster around the toes so the shoes need replaced more frequently.

My son loves these shoes. Often time when we buy Velcro type shoes like these, they come with elastic laces that are too tight. Not these. He said they’re comfy and I can tell the shoe fabric is soft and soles are flexible. Nike does shoes right!
