As a long time Dansko wearer I was excited that these were so cute out of the box. They even had enough room for my forefoot. But Dansko, what happened to the famous arch support that my feet depend on? As a previous reviewer said, there is zero arch support. Very disappointed and will be returning.

I wear the Dansko Maria boot and the Veronica so I thought I would try the new Max. The styling of this bootie is attractive. However, I found there to be zero support and consequently I found them very difficult and fatiguing to walk in. I don't recommend these if you like the other styles and are used to the comfort and arch support of those.

I love these booties. I have terrible feet and ankles — I’ve broken each foot more than one time, crooked toes, pronounced bunion on one, ankle injuries galore — and haven’t worn shoes with a heel in ages. The first day I wore these I had them in from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. with zero pain. The footbed is cushioned just enough to provide comfort and support. I’ve worn them with socks and without and have been equally comfortable. My “standard” size is 10. I ordered these based on my Birkenstock size, 41, which is 10.5-11 on the Dansko size chart.

I have about 12 pairs of Dansko's but these are sized completely differently - they are very narrow in front (even though I'm on the narrow side of medium), uncomfortably tight, yet my heel still slipped more than it does in other clogs. They're great looking, but not wear-able.

I absolutely love this shoe, but if you are a size 8, you are out of luck. I have worn size 39 in Dansko in the past, but now the sizing seems to have changed. I ordered 3 different styles of Dansko's in size 39 and they were HUGE! I decided this was the pair I wanted to keep, so I ordered a size 38. They came today and they are too small. I don't know what changed with Dansko's sizing, but I think I'm going to have to find a different brand for now.

These boots were fairly comfortable but didn’t have the arch support that I expect from Danskos. I also expected them to be a little more stylish. I have purchased other styles and have had a few pair that I have worn for 10 years and loved every minute. I just didn’t think I would be as happy with these so returned them.

I really wanted to love these booties. There is very little arch support. It would be a much more comfortable boot if Dansko would make these styles available in wide widths. Sorry Dansko, back they go.

If you stand on your feet all day, these shoes are a must! They are stylish and comfortable. I wear them all the time.

I love these booties. I ordered them about two weeks ago and wasn't sure if I would keep them. They felt just a little tight across my foot out of the box. I put on a thick pair of socks and wore them around the house all day and they started to loosen up a bit. Now I LOVE them. I wore them on vacation last week where I did a significant amount of walking in snow, rain, mud, and up and down hills and they were so comfortable. They clean up really nicely too. Just a quick wipe down and they look good as new. They're super cute with jeans and leggings or dresses so they're very versatile. I usually wear an 8 - 8.5 in shoes and I ordered the size 39 in these. I'm a little wide across the ball of my feet and while these were a little tight at first there they loosened up nicely. I highly recommend these.

I tried this on out of the box and I didn't take them off...I was like a little kid wanting to sleep in them. They're stylish and comfortable...the perfect boot for the Pac NW winters. I'm going to buy the brown ones now. :-)

These do require a bit of a break-in period. I like the style enough to endure it though. I think the Dansko Max sizing may be somewhat irregular. In the end I still give them five stars. They are made well, comfortable for a full day of walking, and have a quirky appeal to me. As always, a big thank you goes out to Zappos for impeccable service every time!

Run 1/2+ size too big.

These are great boots. I put them on out of the box and wore them for 18 hours. They just got more comfortable as the day wore on.

Really love these! They are a little cloggy like traditional danskos, which makes them super comfortable. The zipper is a little stiff and I wish the top of the boot was a little higher so wearing socks was less awkward looking, but those are both very minor things. These are great shoes!

Comfy, stylish bootie. A great fall must-have!

If you have narrow feet, these would be perfect. If you have wider feet, the toe pinches terribly. Yet the heel slips like a Dansko normally does. I returned them.

I am so happy with these boots. I have several pair or Danskos and these are reliably sized and of excellent quality. The ankle is perhaps a bit wide for me, but the fit is good and they’re quite comfortable. I’m happy to find a cute, stylish bootie for my hard-to-fit feet!

Gorgeous bootie, exactly the style I was looking for - but had to return (very sad!). Length and width were great, but the inside at the very top of the shaft hit my ankles at a weird spot, perhaps exacerbated by the rocking motion of the solid footbed, I'm not sure, but wearing without socks would've been out of the question and I'm not sure socks would've provided enough cushion to overcome the issue. It seems some elastic goring in addition to the zipper might help, or maybe I just need to learn the "Dansko walk" better (this would've been my first pair of Danskos). I'm trying their Frankie, which has goring, but it definitely less cute. We'll see!

I was really excited to get these in the deep rich wine color the picture promises. I was astonished to open the box and find they are not red at all but a light ugly indistinguishable brown! I returned them. Disappointed!

Very comfortable but looked clunky on

I usually find dansko shoes to be super comfortable but this one didn't feel right and my heel slipped in and out of the boot when walking.
