This jacket is very light weight and appears cheap. It is warm when indoors but outdoors it is not warm enough for Temps under 30 or so. I'd wear in spring only.

The zipper broke the first day it was worn. In addition I found the jacket four $30 less and Northface would not price match. I tried to explain that I am sick and take chemotherapy every week it I'm not in any condition to go in and out of the stores and return it to Northface and drive to the other store to purchase it.

The very first model of this was cut correctly for field use. It had enough room that it was not always SKIN-TIGHT. Then they slimmed down the cut so we quit using them. Hopefully they realized their mistake and made this bigger all around. If you are going to make jackets smaller, please make 3xl and 4xl sizes which would normally be a xxl. This is the best synthetic jacket out there, but you better not be muscular if it's cut like last year's.

Picture shows this jacket with a red on the zipper. Jacket i received the zipper was all black. Returned because I thought the red on the zipper gave it some much need spark.

I purchased this jacket in December and the down is starting to come out the back of it making the jacket look old. It's very sad the jacket did not make it past 90 days of use. I spoke with the NortFace warranty department and they told me it would take them 8 weeks to fix the issue with my jacket.
