These sandals have it all: comfort, style, and a nice height too! I have several pairs of Dansko booties, but this is my first pair of sandals. I am a true size 8 in this brand, and that's what I ordered. They seem just a little bit large, but after wearing them around the house all day, I think they'll be fine. The strap needs to be adjusted just right, or it can rub on your ankle. I don't expect this to be a problem once I start wearing them outside, but if so, I think a small piece of moleskin on the inside of the strap would solve the problem. I love these, and am so happy I purchased them!!

I love these shoes, they are beautiful! If I had to change something, I would use a little more supple leather. I am hoping with wear it will lose some of the stiffness. Overall great shoe!

I love these shoes because they are comfortable and stylish. I get a lot of compliments on them. I read the reviews about ordering a size down, so I ordered both my normal size and a size down. I can see why some prefer the size down, but I much prefer my normal Dansko size. If you like and are used to the looser Dansko fit of the clogs, you will likely want to order your typical Dansko size. I wear them with tights and without. Without tights, I use those footie things that cover the top of your foot and cut a hole for the big toe. Without something on my foot, my pinkie toe tends to rub. I wear these shoes all day comfortably, which is great for such a stylish shoe. I highly recommend them.

These shoes exceeded my expectations. The quality of the wood and leather and shoe construction is very high. My feet are on the cusp of 41 and 42 narrow with a high arch, but I followed the advice of others and bought a size 40 and they fit perfectly. The only part that needs help for me is the arch support, I will add supports from the drug store. I think the pad of the shoe is very comfortable especially for a wooden clog. The slope of the shoe is very gentle and the right height for all day long walkability. The brown is very close to the photo, but with a hint of Burgundy in real life - very lustrious. In my estimation these shoes are well worth the price.

THESE ARE AMAZING. So so cute, and comfortable right out of the box!! I have high arches and a slightly wide foot- these are great for both issues! I LOVE THESE. Will definitely buy in another color!!!!

The shoes are beautiful! However, I have to return them because they are too narrow. I am usually a medium width but Lord have mercy, my foot looked like a stuffed sausage. Hahahaha I am returning but I wanted to give 5 stars because they are so beautiful. So sad to return. They don't come in a wide. Boo. I normally wear a 40 and got these in a 39 and the size was perfect. It was just the width.

I purchased these shoes (both black & brown) b/c I thought they were super cute...I also had been eyeing them online & I ran into someone who had them on who also worked for Dansko & she loved them!! Anyway, I needed a cute comfortable shoe/sandal/wedge b/c I am struggling from ankle issues (broken and now arthritis) and a torn plantar fasciitis...all on the right foot!! Other reviews stated these shoes run big but I did not need to go down a 1/2 size. These shoes are comfortable and I can easily walk in them!! Definitely happy with this purchase!

Beautiful, stylish shoe but runs very big. Felt at least a size too large.

as others have noted: unusually large sizing. even after sizing down, the shoe rubbed at the top and toes still did not show much. leather is beautiful and the styling is smart.

I cannot say enough great things about this shoe! I suffer from PF and hate that I can't find cute, sexy shoes that won't hurt my heel...until these! These shoes are sexy and absolutely feel incredible on my feet! I bought the black and they look incredible! LOVE these shoes and can't wait to wear them! Finally a shoe I'll feel pretty in that won't make my feet hurt. Way to go Dansko!!!

Really cute show with jeans! I bought the sable and the color is just as in the picture. The cutout heel is a bit loud on pavement. I usually wear a 37. That was too big. I'd order a 36 next time. Comport and support are just like my other Danskos!

Super cute, but too big. Not sure if it is a full size larger but cannot wear. It also was uncomfortable on the front of my ankle. Iwish they fit.

I ordered these a sized down as suggested but had to return and get my normal size. They do feel big-ish but they are sooo comfortable and they look great!

These shoes were flawless and beautiful! Sadly, the ankle strap rubbed on my outer ankle bone a lot. I had to return them. As usual, order one size down in Dansko, e.g., I wear a 39 in Birkenstock, but a 38 in Dansko.

I own several pairs of Danskos, and love them all. each pair that I have is a 40. I purchased these in a 40 as well, and they fit almost an entire size to large. The foot bed is quite long, and the vamp leaves quite a bit of wiggle room. I am exchanging them for a 30, and Zappos has been wonderfully helpful and easy to work with

I wanted a pair of wedges that I could wear long term with comfort, the sable mostly fit the ticket. The other reviews were accurate to order a size down, I wear a 40 dansko in my work shoes and ordered the 39 based on the previous recommendations which was a good choice. I was in these shoes for 4-5 hours and never felt the need to take them off. The next day I did have a blister from the top of the shoe rubbing, but with some mole skin and breaking them in a little more, that should fix the issue. I also loved that Dansko included a shoe bag which is great for traveling.

They are ADORABLE, but they run large so I had to return.

Cute and stylish. The leather is very stiff that rubs against the top of my toes. Not very comfortable.

Watch the sizing!!! I have tried three pairs of Dansko on in the last 2 days and all three styles were a full size off!! I am a 39 thru and thru. Always. Pretty much any shoe manufacture. I would suggest ordering a size smaller (a 38 is what fit me). This was my experience for the Sable, Shona and Vera. Otherwise these shoes are beautiful style and design.

Beautiful, but too high of a heel and not quite long enough length-wise

They're gorgeous. They about destroyed me in two hours. Blisters and about an inch too much height made me miserable. Swallowing the cost for shoes I can't wear made me even more miserable. Sigh...

I have several pairs of Dansko clogs, boots and sandals. This particular shoe is very attractive in style but unfortunately it lacks the typically excellent arch support that all my other Danskos have. I am keeping them because the style is so attractive, but I am disappointed with the lack of arch support....especially for the price I paid.
