Got these for my 11 year old girl for basketball. She loves them, and says she has one of the best pairs of shoes on the team. I like the velcro on top of the laces to keep the laces put. They do not seem super "high" in the high-top sense, but they do seem like a sturdy, good shoe. Very pleased!

I bought these for my 7 year old daughter and she loves them. I would recommend them.

Great shoe, but beware if buying for a girl/woman. They are in "boy sizing" which means the size number is two full sizes larger than what the "girl size" is. I had to return a few pairs before I realized what had happened. Customer service was not aware of this either and just assumed they were "girl sizes" because they are pink. I discovered a sticker inside the shoe that says "Boys Size 5Y", which fits my daughter because she is a size 7 in girls/women. Customer service was great though, and allowed me to return and exchange without any hassle. Thanks Zappos!
