I bought these to replace a similar, but older, pair of Tevas. My old pair had a great arch and I never had to wear my custom orthotics when wearing them. The velcro strap was wearing on the old pair so it was time to replace them. I was hoping this new pair would be similar, with the great arch. To my delight, they are. My feet don't get tired standing in them, as I do, most of the day. They are easy to get on and take off. They look great. They keep my feet warm enough in the cool weather but not too warm so they sweat. I recommend them if you're looking for comfortable shoe/sandal for everyday wear and you need a fair arch.

Unfortunately this Teva runs narrower than the sandals and shorter. I usually can where a 9 - 9.5 wide in a shoe or Teva tirra sandal in an 8.5 - 9 but this shoe is too narrow and short so am going to try a 10.

I always wear a 10 in Tevas but this was way too narrow and smaller in length than I expected. I would have liked to wear these on the shore but had to return them. There doesn't seem to be a wider option for this shoe.

I REALLY like the Teva Terra-Float Active Lace! I have a very wide (EE) foot and after I let the laces out fully it fit perfect. It has pull tabs on both the tongue and heel (yea! every shoe that has neoprene MUST have this if you're to get it on without a struggle), so was easy to get on. I wore it on my morning walk and it felt great. Also, after wearing it for half a day during 90 degree weather it didn't feel the least bit hot...excellent ventilation. I plan to wear it at dog shows on the grass when it's wet and dewy. There was also quite a bit of support...far more than I expected. Overall, I'm a fan. Wish it came in a light tan...

Love this shoe! Very light and comfortable. Great for walking when we went to Lagoon an amusement park.

My new favorite shoe! Comfy, lightweight and can go anywhere (well almost..not quite the right look for wearing with a dress at the office). Felt true to size, and the toe box is especially spacious. Good sole grip on wet surfaces.

This shoe is so comfortable with great support. I have medium to wide feet and these fit really well. They also feel super light.

This is a great shoe. I can wear it as a hiking or a water shoe.

I wanted a rugged, light, all-purpose tennis/ water shoe that offered a footbed with arch support and good traction of a walking shoe + handle immersion in ocean, lakes and rivers.... Shoes have been comfortable from day one and have protected/cushioned my feet as we explore many of Hawaii beaches and trails. I bought them to replace my 6-year-old pair of Tea water sneakers (which were quite worn) that I couldn't bring myself to toss!

Really good for my feet in addition to being stylish. I look forward to walking/jogging on the beach in them!

I had a pair of something Teva made 10 years ago, very similar (closed-toe watershoe/sandal), which finally bit the dust. No one around carries anything like it, finally saw these on Teva's website. I almost gave 4 stars - there is one location on the instep with seams that rub, and I recall this being a problem with the older version, too - but to have a closed-toe sandal that is so comfy and versatile - to office in summer, to trail on weekend - is unique and incredibly useful. I tried two sizes, kept the smaller for a non-sloppy fit. I did prefer the over version's more reliance on velcro than the more water-shoe-like-uppers on these, but I can live. They fit pretty well and just were what I was waiting for!

There is a space on the right side of the right shoe where part of my foot protrudes - i will need to come up with a solution for that. I wish there were more arch support, but I was able to put my orthotics inside, so that solved the problem.

Very comfortable, sturdy walking sandals! The arch support is terrific, while still being flexible enough to walk naturally. Breathable through he side openings. Footbed can take sweat and water without being uncomfortable (or smelly), and the tough toe cap helps protect when hiking through rocks/scrub. There's plenty of room in the toe box too for my widening feet. They are not elegant, but are extremely serviceable.

Airy, lightweight - very important to me when traveling - offering a closed toe - can't wait to put these in action. Comfortable right away. Mine is a half size larger than I would normally wear; tried the smaller and it was just too snug.

Liked these a lot, but tried a half size up...and liked that a lot more. Just a bit more room in theta box.

These fit better than any sandals I have found in the past 15 years. I wish they were a little less expensive.

Ran a little small, which was surprising, because usually their sandals run about a half size large. In any case, these shoes were out of the box comfortable. Tread was not incredibly substantial, but arch support was surprisingly good. I ended up returning due to both sizing issues and not being sure enough in the investment (or color!) to keep them at this time, but I think Teva did a great job at a more robust hiking shoe, and I'd recommend them to anyone as a more comfortable shoe than both Merrell and Salomon water hikers, and a less chunky alternative to Keens.
I'd also recommend:
Salomon, Merrell, Keen

Fit to my size, but were hot to wear around, and were fairly heavy. Like a sneaker with holes. I decided to get something with a light-colored sole to wear on a boat. I returned these Tevas.

I love the grippy, bouncy sole of this shoe. I love the way it looks and the way it grips my heel. It's sturdy and supportive. The width is fine. But there's not enough vertical room in the toe box! I don't have unusually fat or wide feet, but even without my full-length orthotics, these shoes are too tight. A larger size didn't make any difference even though it was wider and longer. The fit is nothing like my previous Tevas. I had to go with Merrell instead; they're less expensive but less well made.

I have worn these shoes throughout travels- as well as on a bike trip as they are stiff enough to serve as bike shoes and cool enough plus work well off the bike walking around. They are water proof however they do have some side ventilation holes so doubtful they would work in a lot of water. I think they are kind of Euro looking if you wear very short socks with them which is needed as material not that soft. In essence comfortable with socks if you have sensitive feet and useful for various needs
