I've bought a lot of SmartWool socks for myself and family members. They never wear out, never get holes in the toes, even after many washings. I have bought several of these low-cut ones. Note: they come in "light" and "ultra light." The "ultra light" is slightly thinner wool, but still substantial and warm. I can even wear them in the summer. These come in may colors and designs, but you have to search for them by typing in the title in the search bar to see all the different ones. I have arthritis, and I especially appreciate that these are easy to pull on, with the little flap on the back. They make your feet feel cuddled.

My husband recommend these to me, and I'm glad he did. They are very light-weight, keep my feet dry and with this cold spring, warm. Much more comfortable to wear than regular white cotton peds. Being Merino wool, they breathe well. The gray color is a little dark for summer, but with boat shoes, clogs, and duck boots, they are fine. Might have to get a couple of pairs other colors for wearing with shorts! Wish the 3-pack was a little more of a savings than it is (same price as buying 3 individual pairs)...
