Just wanted to weigh in on these Rockports I purchased recently thru Zappos. I really like these shoes. As has been previously remarked upon I found them extremely comfortable and supportive right out of the box! My pair is in the "Breen" color. Yes; when it's sunny out they have a brownish hue but in the evening or when it's overcast they appear gray. Turns out I really like that effect; it amuses me for some reason.....almost like I have 2 new pairs of shoes! The slip-ons I was wearing previously were Merrills and I seem to believe that this a much better shoe overall. Just my opinion. One thing I'd like to add: For years I've been wearing an 11 W; prior to this purchase I took the time to read the Zappos fitting guide and subsequently measure my foot which turned out to be, perhaps, 3/16" longer than 11 inches and so bearing that in mind I ordered the 11 1/2.....perfect fit!!! Who knew? Anyway, nice pair of shoes; they'll be my "go to" shoes for the Summer and I'll probably end up ordering another pair. The transaction was seamless as is the usual case with Zappos.....

These are the best feeling shoe I have ever had, in fact I bought a second pair. One of the lightest shoes I have ever owned. I own about 5 other Rockport shoes but these are my favorite but, Rockport shoes in general all meet a very high standard. Very happy with my purchases.

I purchased this for my grandfather and they go with anything. Nice comfortable shoe with good traction that looks hip.

Did not care for style or fit.

I've bought several pairs of Rockport slip-on shoes over the years and find them reliably about a half size large (I wear them without socks). But if you adjust your ordering for that, you'll be fine. Handsome and very well made, as I've come to expect from this brand.

My husband is quite hard to please when it comes to a shoe that fits his foot. He has a narrow heel and a wide width. I honestly did not think these would work for him but he is very pleased. He wore them all day straight out of the box. Wow!

Stylish casual shoes and with memory foam insoles are quite comfortable. The color wasn't an exact match to the picture, but still presented a nice look. I have a narrow heel and a wide forefoot which causes problems finding a good fit. These were about perfect for my feet.

Very comfortable and light weight, just what I expect from Rockport. The only minor gripe is that they look brown in the picture but are actually a grayish color. I still like the look and will keep them.

I purchased this shoe in men's 10.5, D width, the size of all my other footwear. The length was fine, but this particular shoe was narrow, as some other reviewers have noted. (I should have paid them more attention!) The shoe was especially tight across the top of my foot, even without socks, and despite the elastic goring at the sides. It was troublesome to insert my foot easily without using a shoehorn. I called Zappo's and they are sending me the same shoe in a wide EE, which I hope will solve the problem. On the plus side, the exchange was processed efficiently and the representative is expediting the new order so that I will have it very quickly.

The inside of the shoe is soft and comfortable, but fit comes about a half size too long.

Ordered these for my son to replace outgrown Timberlands. The Rockports did not feel well made, especially for the price. There was a weird heel insert that my son said made it feel like his foot was being pushed out of the shoe. Ultimately, we returned this shoe at and bought Nunn Busch slip on. Maybe the right shoe for someone, but not for us.

Great shoes, just not quite wide enough. My last Rockports were 13W and they were fine. Not these. I will go up a size.

Brand-new Rockport Langdon shoes arrived scuffed in multiple places (top, sides), with a small tear or two on one side. Based on the reviews, I really though I'd like them, but there appeared to be little to no arch support, and my arches hurt immediately upon trying them on, even though it was on carpet. On to try a different type of shoe...something with arch support.
