I don't usually write reviews, BUT. . . these shoes are incredibly comfortable for my problem feet. I am 70 with damaged feet (bunions, hammer toes, various knobs, arthritis)that have run and walked 3-5 miles a day for 50 years. Wide feet. Orthotics. Both Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis in the feet. I tried nearly 10 pairs of new running shoes that would not work (Thank You, Zappos!)until I found these. Wide toe box, soft and padded sole. I added the NB Pressure-Relief Insoles as a trade-off from the orthotics and they were even more comfortable. Incredible. My feet hurt more when I took the shoes off than when I was wearing them--and that is not the usual situation. Brooks, which I have worn for years, now rubs my high instep painfully. Asics Gel Kayano, which I have also worn, narrowed the shoe so much even walking was painful. (So they think everyone has Cinderella feet?)These NBs are So comfortable, I will probably buy another pair just to keep in case they are changed. If you have wide, damaged, painful feet, try these. They may work for you too. Be aware, they are very wide. When I took them out of the box I thought "herring boxes without topes," but they are so comfortable, I don't care.

The Fresh Foam feel awesome on my feet. However, they are too short. I ordered an 11 because sometimes NB will fit me, not these. And they don't have these in 1/2 sizes and I feel the 12 is going to be too big so I have to return these and try something else. NB needs to offer more 11 1/2. Not sure why they don't because you can get 1/2 in every other size. They also need to offer more neutral shoes.

Great shoes - light weight and wide toe box to allow toes to splay which is important to me, but the overall width is deceiving because the sole is much wider than the wearable width. To help others with sizing: having had my feet measured using a Brannock device I found that the length of my feet measure as Women's size 9 however the arch length measures as Women's shoe size 10 (measuring the length from heel to ball of foot). This means my shoe size falls between Women's 9 and 10 depending upon the shoes. My feet measure as A width and I have narrow heels. It is hard to find shoes that fit and I had to try multiple sizes before I found the right fit in these shoes. Oddly it was Women's size 10 C/D that fit my feet in this shoe. Net/net - shoe length is normal, width is very narrow despite the overall appearance of a very wide forefoot. The shoes have nice cushioning. In person I think the color is more of a dark Navy rather than true Black. I would like the shoes better if they had lower drop between rear and front of foot. I prefer zero drop as it is healthiest for our feet. As a tip: despite the shoes that I ended up with being a Women's Wide width on feet that measure as somewhat Narrow I found that the shoes are most comfortable if I do not tighten the laces too much. After putting a shoe on my foot (before lacing) I position the foot at about a 45 degree angle (toes facing up) and tap the back of the shoe on the floor. The tapping action seats the heel of my foot into the back of the shoe. When lacing I allow a finger space between each cross of the laces so as not to over tighten. In doing this I find the shoes very comfortable and a good fit. The shoes are good for someone like me with a neutral gait or slight suppination (underpronation). One final note: the socks that I wear with these shoes are "Feetures! Elite Light Cushion" - best socks ever.

This is the first shoe that feels solid and comfortable. It literally feels like an extension rather than a cumbersome attachment. The shoe is deep enough to place my orthotics on top of the foamy insole so it's super cushy and supportive. Nothing in the shoe rubs on my wide foot. I'm getting another pair!

I've walked about 20 miles since my purchase. I would recommend them. The insole comes out so I can use my custom insole and they are still wide enough. For a tennis shoes this wide they are cute. Love the color.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but they are blue, not a fan of blue,they looked black in the picture. Once I put my custom orthodics in them, my foot was too high ,and I was coming out of the shoe. The search continues

Great shoes! I have wide feet and a nerve problem in my toes and I need a very wide toe box. New Balance provides that! These are nice looking shoes as well, I really like the color.

Love the shoe and the cushioning but the shoe is too wide when compared to the same 9M from the previous version.

I have suffered with plantar fasciitis, which still flares up from time to time. But I like to go on long walks every day. These sneakers provide the cushion I need. The insoles are removable and I did order the size 7, which is a half size larger than my usual size, specifically so I could replace the insoles with my orthotics. I got the bright blue with neon green and yes they are bright but I like them. The only thing I don't like is the cheesy "fresh foam" script near the heel of the shoe.

I bought this shoe after wearing a competitor for the last 8 years but because of bone spurs and surgeries, I needed a wider toe box. I was reluctant to switch, but there was no need, to be this sneaker has all the cushioning and support I could ask for plus the room I needed for my toes. Hopefully, I will be back to my usual 4 miles a day again soon, I know this running shoe will deliver everything I need.

Bought these after wearing the 1080 series for many years. The V7 is a major step back. The cushion and arch support are gone. After going for a walk with the dog I felt like I ran a marathon. Try these on carpet in case you want to return.

This shoe is extremely comfortable. It is supportive but not overly structured which is perfect for my foot. It is not cut to high or too low at the ankle - so there is good support but does not cut into the upper foot or ankle. I have wide foot and a high arch so too much structure is uncomfortable for me. This shoe is soft but again not too soft. The color is bright and energizing. With the dark gray accents the colors do not clash which I also like. I breaks up the brightness well, but in a neutral way.

Comfy

I already own the neon yellow color in this shoe and loved them so much, I bought this color a few months later so I have another pair when my others wear out. They’re very comfortable and supportive for my problematic joints.
