Customer Reviews New Balance 940v3

Man, these do not fit like the V2's for me. After years of buying and loving my 940v2's (bought at least 10 pairs of them over the year, they were the perfect running shoe for my feet), I was stoked when these came out because of the sleek updated look. Unfortunately, at least for my feet, these shoes don't fit nearly as well. The arch feels different, the forefoot feels narrower, and my heel keeps slipping out. The v2's required no break-in at all, maybe these will improve over time, but I am doubtful. Now I'm scrounging to try to find a remaining pair of 940v2's but they are getting really hard to find. I hope these new V3's fit other people better than they fit me. Again, this isn't a complaint about the quality, these shoes look well built and I love the style. I was just surprised how differently they fit.

I bought these as a substitute for the 840v3 which is no longer available in my size 13, but I found these had a more pronounced (uncomfortable) arch, were narrower to the point that I think I should've ordered a wide size and they've much less cushion than the 840v3

Great shoe, very comfortable and the widest New Balance that I have tried. A little bit wider in the heel than many other shoes but with the lacing system, not a problem. Good support. Very stable. Excellent for walking. I have yet to try running in them.

My foot was slipping out the back

Everything about the show felt fine except for the heel. It kept slipping out of the back to the point that i had to send them back.

Not as comfortable as previous New Balance shoes. Would not buy again

I bought these for my 22 year old son for Christmas. He wears a 13 wide and it is difficult to find a shoe that fits him well. He works in a warehouse and is on his feet all day. He was having knee pain and after wearing these shoes he rarely complains about his knees or his feet hurting.

Very comfortable. Maybe a bit loose in the heel. Used a heel lock lacing to fix that. Overall feel good, nice and wide

Nice Sneaker indeed....BUT Why Do I or Anyone Have to Ever Put in a Arch Support Sole...?

My husband has worn this model NB forever. The size, width and support have always worked well for him. He wears them mainly for work. NB has changed throughout the years, not the dependable company it used to be. Hopefully they continue to make this model of shoe.
